Oh I forgot to mention. Thank you for showing how you fold your parchment paper. After having so much trouble folding that darn paper you make it look so easy. So again thank you.

This was a great video. Love how you show from start to finish and donating a recipe for soapers. I have several recipes but it’s always nice to try something new using different oils. I’m trying a recipe from Natures Garden to see how I like it. Great Job!

Hi! Love your videos! Soap is beautiful! Q: Do you cover soap and leave on counter overnight? Thank you for sharing! -Momo
Love the video, thanks for sharing with us all. Is the Hemp seed oil refined or unrefined?
I am a begginer in making soaps. I love your channel!!! Do you have an easy or basic recipe with less oils? That way if I messed up I don't waist too much money. ☺️
Hello Jerika. I love your channel, you give so much inspiration to us!! :-) If I would make this soap, can I cut the recipe in half because I am just a newbie at making soap but I realy want to try this one out... Thank you and good luck with your soap business!! Big hello from Belgium ;-)
Hi this is a beautiful soap! What is the white powder you add to the oils in the begining of the video
Hi Jerika. Thanks for another great video. If I wanted to try this recipe could I sub the hemp oil with hemp butter? I have a lb of hemp butter I haven't done anything with yet but would need to find hemp oil if I have to stick to the recipe as stated.
Do u make skin lighting soap..
Hey great video ! Me and my wife are new to soap making and we are learning from your videos . May i just ask what are the dimensions of the mold that you have made . We have all the stuff from the list to start makeing our first soap . 10x in advance
Where did you get your loaf box from
Do you use virgin hemp oil? Or is it refined?
Hi Jerika...love your videos and your recipe! I am wondering though, what is the white powder you add into your mix....about 4 spoonfuls,...you don't say what it is...titanium dioxide? Just wondered....thanks so much.

Nope, I do not measure ph
When creating your own recipe how do you decide how much of the additive for color to add, especially if you’re using more than one?
How much lye do you add to the distilled water?

Is there a reason you’re using paper versus using the silicone molds?
@JerikaZimmerman
3 жыл бұрын
Its much easier to get the soap out without damaging it using paper vs silicone.
What is that white powder that you spooned onto your oils before mixing?
@JerikaZimmerman

Kaolin Clay.

@@JerikaZimmerman Hi Jerika, as always thank you for sharing first of all. What is the purpose of the clay here? Texture, performance or cosmetic? Thanks!
Hi Jerika, I am so sorry. My last message got your name wrong. Bloody spell check. Anyway love your videos. Keep them coming 😀
This looks like cold process?? If so how long do you cure your soaps before using and or selling? TIA
@JerikaZimmerman
3 жыл бұрын
This is cold process. I cure for at least 4 weeks before selling.
Didn’t you say in one of your videos that you put your soap in oven on low, then leave overnight to help with gel phase. Would you share that process?
@JerikaZimmerman
3 жыл бұрын
Yep! I’ll make a video on this in the future.
I plugged this into the soapcalc and got way different measurements for the percentages you gave. The water says 1,034 grams and lye 372.9. That is at 38%. Do you know what I am doing wrong or did you just do a major water discount?
@JerikaZimmerman
3 жыл бұрын
I do a major water discount. A ratio of 1.5:1.
What is the powder that you are adding to the oil?

Ive been doing your recipe and the soap isnt working out at all what am i doi g wrong? The next day there is oil sitting at the top of the soap.
Sorry trying to follow you very closely what was the powder and other liquid you put in?
How much titanium dioxide do you use in the recipe please
@JerikaZimmerman
3 жыл бұрын
1/4 tsp
Why don’t you just use silicone lined trays? The parchment paper seems like something that can be streamlined.
Hi
Your soaps are so naturally,naturales, so frustrating,how do i now de % of oils
or maybe it's kaolin clay?
I think is missing an ingredient to made the soap 🧼 I see in the videos you mix the oils and colors but I don't think 🤔 that is the only thing ... Isn't it ?

Your recipe is incomplete. No mention of lye or distilled water amounts. Limited explanation makes this more about showing your work, than learning your work. Oh well.
