    Great video. How accurate is the surface grinder? Do you think its .001" over the length of the blade and spring?

    Thank u 👍 I honestly don't know...my blades have consistently been centered since I've started using it... measuring things isn't my strong point to say the least lol

    Do you leave the spring and blade at the same hardness or do you temper the spring down further?

    I temper the backspring down farther...abt 48 rockwell is a good target hardness for a backspring

    @@craigcook1571 it depends on what metal ur using and if ur heat treat oven runs hot or not...for CPM-154 the baseline is 1120 degrees for 2 hrs...my lil oven runs hot so I have to do a lower temperature
