In Midjourney I also include "no shadow" on white background. Just sometimes helps with the cutout, depending on what program you use for thr mockups 😀

The more research I do the more confused I get. Some POD experts say to always use a model, others say not to. I'll need to test both ways. 🙂

I did get my first organic sale but I still preferred flat lays it's looks better in my opinion this is where pod always gets confusing

I really appreciate the quality of your videos. They've been incredibly helpful. I'm curious about one aspect though - it seems like you haven't demonstrated the process for creating 500 mockups. Am I right in thinking that? If so, I'm wondering if you're suggesting we manually replace 500 designs for 500 mockups, or if there's a more efficient method you teach in your course. Could you help me understand how you envision us approaching this task?

Shimmy, would these principles apply when selling wall art online, too? I always would put a close-up of the art as my first image, but what about the other slots? Would images of room styles that match the art style be a good idea? What is your opinion?

Awesome video. Thanks so much. You said you'd explain why you wouldn't recommend model mockups, but I think you forgot :) is it because flat lay can better represent unisex T-shirts? Also, Canvas 3001 seems to be most widely used type for POD. Can you share why you prefer Gildan 64000?

Thanks for this video Shimmy, very helpful as always. We use custom/branded inside labels with Printify, and I'm keen to know how you would deal with the visible label/tag on the mockup example used in this video (I've searched for mockups without the label for the 64000 but can't find any of similar quality)? Would you explain the label situation in the product description, perhaps, or just not worry about it... or something else? 🙏

There’s obviously no magic formula with mock-up strategies. Different types of mock-ups might work better or worse for different types of stores. You’ll notice that Shimmy was criticizing the “crazy dog lady” shirt mock-up but that shop has over 23,000 sales. What do we make of this? I think it boils down to using some common sense (everything in this video is good advice) and testing out different methods for your own shop and see what works.
