This game is basically No Time to Explain If you haven't played it, I recommend it. No Time to Explain isn't a rage game, but upon watching this video, what you made reminded me of it.

This looks epic. Thanks for explaining. The rage game I'm playing the most lately is Jump Skunk. The daily stages on hard mode get my blood so high

Definitely try to expand this game! If you did it in some days, imagine what you can do in a month or so. I'd buy it on steam, looks fun

you can see huge differences in the first few days, but after a bit the game changes are sometimes not noticeable

You can see a lot of changes, from a 1bit limited shooter to a colorful space shooter with lots of maps, weapons and enemies.. you can search for Dominus Solaris, I've launched it on Steam 3 days ago

Thanks Shadow, it turned out better than I thought it would for a few hours working on it, if the video does well enough I’ll make a finished version and post it on steam so it’s in the viewers hands now!

If you make it a full game, I think having different types of shells would be really cool. (gravity shot? water shot? A big slow projectile that you can ride?) Also, vaguely reminds me of this here -> kzread.info/dash/bejne/qpyatNOHg8qshdI.html

Neat little game. It's always good to make something small to help focus on what makes something fun.

A rage game about someone named Greg climbing a mountain involving some species of bird. Sounds a lot like the Bread and Fred singleplayer mode xD

I’ve been making games in Gamemaker pretty much my entire development journey, I tried unity for 1 month a few years ago and wasn’t huge on the development workflow :)

I’m new to game development and i’m currently learning Unity’s C#, I’ve basically just scratched the surface so I wouldn’t lose any progress if I switched to any other engine, so should I switch to GameMaker or is Unity the way to go?

Doesn't feel like the hardest game. Even less when I see the gameplay and the time it took. It's all about balance and balance isn't there.

I don’t wanna ruin this game but fun fact in getting over it there’s already been a mod with a shotgun that propels you like in this game kinda

They easy mode is a lot more fun as it’s challenging without it being overly impossible, but if I turn it into an actual game I’d make sure to make a set difficulty that ramps as the game progresses
