Yes! Please do Real love!
I remember sitting in front of the TV waiting for the Beatles debut on the Ed Sullivan Show. Love your version of Now and Then.
That's one of the best things I've heard someone do with another song. Superb
You're a genius Timmy! You also brought the bite and enthusiasm of the early Beatles into the song. 👍✌️😇
Hi, Timmy, thank you for the GREAT 'How I did it' video! And I'm quite impressed with how QUICKLY you did it. Sheesh! In some ways, even though I'm 67 years old and you are obviously NOT, I could wish we knew each other. I'm a classically trained composer with three music degrees who became a musician in part because of The Beatles, who I grew up with during the 1960s in 'real time.' And I've studied popular songwriting intensively since the mid-1990s, both music and lyric-writing, plus have done my own recording work using Logic. However, I'm no singer and have no band available to realize/record any of my material, plus I'm WAY beyond looking 'stageworthy' at this point even as a Keyboardist. (Piano is my main instrument, and I'm a recently retired Piano teacher too.) Something that's always struck me is how many Beatles tribute bands there are compared to how few 'Let's write great songs like The Beatles' bands. I'm not talking about literal, stylistic imitation only, but also originality, lyrical subject matter, arranging, production, and commercial appeal. Your 1964 version of 'Now and Then' HAS that commercial appeal. You have KZreadrs commenting that they like YOUR up-tempo version of the song as well or even better than last week's Beatles release! Adam Schlesinger's/Mike Viola's pastiche 'That Thing You Do!' chosen for the Tom Hanks movie of the same name not only MADE the film believable but the song recording actually CHARTED at the time. People are stil hungry for well-written/recorded material of that same general style and sensibility. BTW, I LOVE the 'Lead Guitar triplet' measures which transition to the Chorus sections of your version of 'Now and Then.' The triplets may be in Paul's version too but yours are more interestingly audible. Please accept my thanks once again. Don C. in Indiana

Beatles 64 is just totally awesome. Just about everyone I know likes your version better than the official version. Thanks!

The 64 version sounds more like 1994 version: multitracked, cleaned, digital, smooth, unlike the rough and sharp 1964 sound of The Beatles.

Don’t know anyone who likes the a.i. version better. It incorporates a lot of early Beatles tropes and effectively but it’s a facsimile and sounds like it. I do like it but not more than the Beatles version which to me has a haunting evocation of the passing of time and how it can be threaded together via memory.

Fair enough. I do like both versions, but to me the 64 ai just sounds more "Beatley" than the offical ai.@@jays1752
Great job, Timmy. The vocals tradeoff between and Liam was to die for and EXACTLY how they would have done it!!
Instantly loved your 64 version! Also the really humble & honest way you come across & downplay your obvious talent. From the banks of the River Mersey I salute you Sir!
Accidentally ran into your channel and undoubtedly became your fan! You are not mimicking sounds or melodies, you make them fresh and inventive! Bravo!!! Your love for Beatles is genuine which makes me like you even more!
luv your version and the hard work you put into this. Shits me that people on tiktok use it without even any credit or acknowledgement to you!!
I've bought my digitial copy and it sounds Beatletastic! David
The final product is a wonder both for music lovers and we who also have home studios -- what a fantastic job. And though it might be unlikely, the final chord sounds like the end of the theme music for the British TV show The Prisoner, and adds an extra 60's vibe! Stellar Job.

Anyway, it's a great idea and both you did a terrific job. I'm so impressed, you guys, are so créative and so réactive. David'video really took me back in the 60's when thé Beatles colored our then black and white world. I dont know If hé did it on purpose but thé moment when thé vidéo switches from grey to colour really means a lot to me because that's exactly what happened in Europe in 64-65. Your work on voices is better and is really amazing and confusing I'm excited to imagine what a combination of both covers would give. Keep up thé good faith.

Sorry, I answered thé wrong message.
You did a good job, there's no doubt about it. One thing I've noticed about the 62-66 John-voice is that he sang with a 'scratchier' vocal than that smoother nice sound that began around Strawberry Fields, until the end.
Dude you’re a killer musician! You should make some original stuff in that style!
You did a wonderful job!❤
I keep on coming back to your 64 version. It's stuck in my head and puts a smile on my face. The kind of Beatle's vibes I experienced so long ago. It's like when the Anthology came out! Thank you for this! I hope you'll have the chance to meet Paul & Ringo and talk about it.

@@marguskiis7711 It's the style that sounds like 64 (or 65 to my ears), not the recording.
Very cool, Timmy 🌞
Bravo. What a talent to do something like this. Impresive.
The king has returned!
Just brilliant. My favourite song of 2023. I see now why the twelve string bit isn't very twelve string. I want to hear it with a real 360/12. I'm hoping that someone will do it live.
You are a very talented man. I loved your interpretation. Being the only child in my family of 7 who never learned a musical instrument, it pisses me off that you can play everything so well. You bastard. Just greedy. Thanks for your beautiful work. I look forward to hearing more now that I am subscribed. Cheers

Thanks for the sub! I’m an only child so I was stuck without anyone else to pick up the slack on the other instruments. 😁
Amazing arrangement and amazing how quickly you created and recorded it! Very 1965 Rubber Soulish!
Thank you! 🎉
Awesome work! I bet Sir Paul thinks so too! 😎
You are such a good artist!!!
Your version is FANTASTIC. It would be really interesting to listen to other post 1966 Beatles songs with this "retro" touch. Congratulations!
Well done, Sir. Love your version. Thank you!
Hi Timmy. I initially thought that you'd used the Beatles vocals, it was that good. Yes Real Love would be a great next step. I often wondered what Grow Old with me could have sounded like with the Threetles treatment as I don't think it has been done justice up till now. Looking forward to Real Love. Cheers
@TimmySean - You did one hell of a job! Really fantastic. Bravo!
Just totally love what you have done with this - now that is a song 😍
All of the accolades are well deserved, my friend. But not just for the incredible vocal and instrumental work and the reimagining of the tune as a vintage 1964 Beatles work, but the authentic production techniques you’ve applied. Without that expertise, it wouldn’t have the same feel, and for that I am truly grateful. Having seen the Beatles twice in Toronto and being a life long fan, this nostalgic epic brought back all of the thrill of a new release and actually brought tears to my eyes. Thank you sincerely.

You sound like a longtime Beatle-can-do-no-wrong type "fan" (short for fanatic). No objectivity comes from such hyperbolic affection. Tim did a much better job on making a John Lennon song sound Beatle-ish... something I think John would have rejected Paul trying to do to his music. Compared to Paul, Tim is more like George Martin was with a Lennon/McCartney song. Paul was once great as a Beatle but he's no George Martin at producing.
Timmy my son is 7 years old and he loves this version. Thanks for making these amazing videos
Great job dude! Your version is amazing
I have to say you’re on point with making this a better version. Please understand that I am an avid beatles fan to no end. But I just think Paul did his best but it just doesn’t make me feel like it’s really a beatles song. It’s more of a Paul song. Great job. Can’t wait to hear what you come up with next
Phenomenal! I’m a huge Beatles fan but there is rarely a Beatles cover that I like. This is amazing. You reveal that the early Beatles DNA was in this song, which I didn’t see coming.
Congratulations they are realy the real Beatles❤❤❤❤
I love the new song and I love your AI cover. It's fun and a good tribute to the great band. Well done.
Absolutely amazing. Thanks for making this best version. Well done
I prefer your take on the song! Fantastic! ❤
Oh man... You are simply AMAZING Timmy!!!
Great job! I like this version better than, dare I say, the Beatles!
You did a great job Timmy Sean. The Beatles die hard fans are very pleased by your rendition, also it’s burning up on youtube!
Timmy, no one else is explaining this stuff! Thanks! Billy
Thanksgiving made more spectacular with your contribution ❤🙏
Thx so much for sharing
Your Oasis version was magic More of that please
Great cover and a perfect explanation of your work: THANKS ! Oops, I just made exactly 10,000 views... ... You deserve a few more zeros 👀👀👀👀... 👌👌👌 🙏🙏🙏 👍👍👍
your cover is great! thanks man!
Thank you for breaking down your recording process, didn't realise you'd contributed both vocally and instrumentally to these tracks, amazing! Looking forward to your future projects along the Beatles lines, please do not stop at this.
Depois de escutar Now and Then 1964, agora só ouço esta versão, totalmente na vibe de A Hard Day's Night e de Help!. E a versão do Oasis ficou excelente! Muito bem feitas, ambas! ✌🏆🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The 'lead in' reminds me of the song, Driver's Seat, by Sniff n the Tears. Good stuff.
Thanks - real interesting and very nice job on the song!
Timmy, you are amazing. Great work! Thanks for sharing your talents.
I think you've done an amazing job with your version and it certainly stands up on its own. If anything you sound like the guy in Starsound - Stars on 45 - who did the Beatles tracks that fearured John Lennon, i think his name was Bas Muys. Now that would be interesting to hear him sing Now and Then! Well done Sir, you have a new subscriber.
Love the Oasis version. Screams 96 era when I first discovered them.
GREAT VIDEO DUDE!!!!!!!! LOVE THE BEATLES AND APPRECIATE THE RESPECT AND THE GOOD TASTE YOU HAD TO DO A COVER!!!! CONGRATS!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You did this so good I had to stop what I was doing as it showed up on my FB in a random reel. It's more like 1966, its a little fast in tempo but the arrangement, vocals and mix are spot on Beatles. Paul and Ringo should hear this !! If the song was released like this it would have captured everyone's attention and for sure be a number one hit. I can;t hear it enough. You did great !!
Buenísima la versión de la canción...con Los Beatles en 1964.
Essentially, this is not unlike when Lennon wrote Please Please Me as a tribute to Roy Orbison, but then they decided to speed it up. If you play it slow you can hear how it’s a Roy inspired tune. It would have been cool if Roy had done it in his style. So, yeah, taking this Lennon dirge and speeding it up makes total sense.
It was a great job!
12k? it should be 12 Million views!
Amazing! 😃 👏
Absolutely fantastic 😊 Wings of Pegasus KZread channel gave you a shout out. I can’t wait to listen your originals 👍

Talent, imagination, and a great sense of fun. Hope a great future for you.

You are a genius Timmy. And a brilliant musician to boot. I love what you did with “Live & Let Die” for Paul’s 80th birthday. 😃👍

Just subscribed...u got talent sir.
This is only the man the Beatles could of been !!!! Alan
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! It actually sounds like a proper Beatles song instead of a Lennon solo reject... great job
Sure you don't have a band call "Metronomy"? ;) Nice work!
Enjoy trying! Wish I could play guitar and sing at all, but I can't. So I listen to those like you. Well done.
Sos un crack. Saludos desde la Argentina.
I listened to it, I think it's pretty good, but I think the voice should have leaned a bit more to the more loud lennon voice that he used in stuff like Rock and Roll Music, Twist and Shout, and Sgt. Pepper's opening track.
That's really great ty ;--)
Your Beatles'64 version was great -- how about a Bealtes'67 full psychedelic version? "Now is then and then is now and then is when and when is how..." let the mellotrons and sitars and backwards guitars ring out! 🙂

That Oasis Version is Class.
I am completely convinced this is how Billy Joel made himself sound younger in his new song. I havent found anyone else online, but he just doesn't sound that clean anymore. I could be wrong, but it would make sense.
I would like to cover your version with a band.
