    Also, looking at the sidemounts, if you can, invest in some beefier items bud 👍 They look a bit flimsy. A similar gauge to the brackets you made would be perfect 👍👍

    Has anyone heard of the issue of the driver side recaro reclining by itself over time whilst driving and does anyone know of a fix?

    How does the seatbelt tongue route into the buckle?Does it fit through the hole on the left hand side off the seat??

  • @Sparkplugsteve

    @Sparkplugsteve

    No it goes over the seat. The belt clip is too long and also your side leg blocks the hole so even if it could go through it would be a nightmare to clip in.

    Great vid again steve. Well done on the seat bases mate 👍The motomec seats are fantastic value too. However, using a standard seatbelt with a bucket seat is EXTREMELY dangerous. Get yourself some nice harnesses ASAP mate 👍👍

    @@kratcliffe5680 OK thanks for input. I did do as much research as I could before doing it. According to an article in GSM website they are OK. I checked how the belt fits over my shoulder and my lap and from That article mine is good. But I'm not an expert and relying on those more clued up than me.🤔

    @@kratcliffe5680 it's not a financial decision its an ease of use decision. I dont even want a bucket seat in the car but have done it out of neccesity. I don't want a full blown track car anymore. Iv done it and it's makes for a horrible weekend joyrider.

    As bucket seats go it's very good. The base is harder than a oem seat but it's ok.
