My other dog played along and he became intrigued - now its a daily part of our routine - about 3 times a day we do the shell game and the muffin tin game. I am so grateful for coming upon your training techniques!

In all fairness, that's how sponsorship works -- they give you money, you talk about their product. He does a quick commercial near the beginning, and may speak the brand name a time or two throughout the video. What's wrong with that? I am genuinely interested in your answer. Zak is the subject of a lot of controversy right now, and i'd like to know what people think and why they are reacting the way they are (where his sponsorship is concerned).

We’ll see! As long as people are enjoying the series, we’ll probably keep it going indefinitely. I definitely have some ideas on ways to evolve the series longer term, but first I’ll continue to see how these videos do...

i love how patient you are with teaching inertia fetch! i had to work many weeks with training my new dog fetch. he is finally to the point where when we go to the dog park, he will bring the ball straight back to us even with tons of other dogs around!! people assume dogs know fetch automatically, but this is definitely not the case. thanks to your videos, i was able to teach him a reliable game :) i love these videos so much ! it's so real and so helpful for anyone who is looking into getting a puppy. thank you for making these available to the public, you and bree are amazing!

I love how real this series is and the weight you put on being patient with your pup! Thank you for these videos. I don't have a dog yet but I'm planning on getting a Collie soon. Hopefully I will learn well from this and be prepared.

Yes, i started doing videos on puppies weeks before I got my puppy. Great mentor . I adopted an 8 week old black Golden Doodle an previewing vids helped alot. But , my goodness how often can a puppy pee? Every hour? Should I restrict water access? IDK. 😣💫 hes now 9 weeks old and (with minimal distractions) does sit, down, stay for a cpl secs, leave it, and go get it..... bring it sometimes. Thanks Zak & wife for all of the prepuppy heads up. ❤❤❤❤👍💫💫😇🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️

H Crystal how’s the weather over there

I’ve been training my puppy fetch with two balls. After he goes after one, I catch his eye with the other ball. He will run back with the first ball in his mouth and I entice him with the second. Then we worked on “drop it” at the same time as when he coincidentally dropped the ball. Now he’s great at fetching and returning balls!

take it slow. you can try doing your training on your porch first, or at the door, etc.

I love how the cat seemed to look like she knew that she was a part of the puppy training and just sat there calmly

My 6 years old husky mix is snoring away while I'm planning out what tricks to teach him... he'll never know what hit him...

Our dog's training relationship/understanding has increased more in the last month with your methods then in the last year of awkwardly trying to train her to behave by letting her know when she did bad, rather then just praising when she did right. She finally has a really good heel with treats!

This made my respect for this trainer go even higher. He got the most energetic and intelligent breed in the world....The Border Collie. I cant imagine id ever go that route. Im so proud of Zac and have been enjoying him teach a dog who for most would be overwhelming. A border collie is just " too smart" for most households and would easily become bored or destructive. Awesome series. Hes handling it like its easy but i assure everyone it "aint" lol Border collies are known for their work ethic. Kudos to him for giving her everything she needs.. most people couldnt. 😊

Yes, there is a border collie who knows over 300 objects by name and can use the process of elimination, i think scientists call it fast mapping. When she was given a unfamiliar command...she literally weeded out all the familar options and chose the foriegn option and got it right!!! Im so glad people like Zac bring out the full potential of these high energy and high intelligence dogs.

I taught my puppy to be gentle with biting, sit, lay down in a week😩❤️ he’s still not the brightest at it but he is a really fast learner

Hey man I have a 8 week old Labrador I’ve had for 2 weeks( Ik we got her early but they were gonna get her rid off her) and she sits on command and there haven’t been many potty incidents in the last few days and she the puppy biting has gotten much better all thanks to you

I'm loving this series!! I binged the Kona series so far & then started from the beginning with Inertia & I'm so happy I did!! Love this!! Seeing her grow & grasp things is fascinating!!

It's soooo cute when she drops a toy while bringing it during fetch 😂😍😅

My little miniature poodle Harry has been jumping up on my back for a while, but with your tip he was literally sitting on my right shoulder like a parrot 😭 I reacted just like you and gave him ALL THE TREATS!

I was always saying "sit, sit, sit" and now I only do it once and let her process This week we are working on leave it with treats as well as still working on walks. We are working on "lets go"(leave it doesnt work yet) and stop/wait

@@frosty7897 I always respond "she's a mess" but she's doing really good. She knows quite a few tricks and all of them have a hand signal to go with it. I don't think she will ever not be hyper though. She turned a year old in March and she is still this massive ball of energy. She does really well on walks unless she is highly distracted and she still jumps on people when she sees them. That is a fight to break lol

I had the whining with my Rottweiler, when he was that age he would pee in his play pen just to get attention we got over that around 4 months, mine used to be proper cheeky 😂

I just tried this out as my puppy and cats really haven't been getting along after a week of getting to know each other. I was so surprised by how well it went! I will be making sure to keep doing this from now on.

I got my Border puppy (Tach) at almost the exact same time as you and he is about the same age too! One thing I can say is how amazingly different their behavior is! Enertia has waaaaaay more energy... My Tach has that energy level for maybe 30 seconds a day
