I love that your honest that being a youtuber stinks. I don't think your being ungrateful. You're being honest on your channel and cussing to me occasionally is what most adults do. I love your honesty and realness!

To be in a situation where you have to take medication to feel better sucks, but it only helps if you keep on taking it, it takes a while for it to work and sometimes you might feel worse before you feel better. You have to speak with your doctors so both you and them can regulate what you take and how much of it. You are not alone, many people have these feelings and problems. A very important thing is to have something to do that you like that you can use to relax and/or work through feelings. Remember: "This too shall pass".

@@hisnameisAkin I tried medication for my anxiety and ADHD, I didn't like the way they made me feel so I stopped. What did help though was therapy. I know most people are too proud to have a therapist but just having someone who won't judge you and let's you cry and vent and get angry without lashing back was really helpful. I know therapy can be expensive if insurance doesn't cover it, but it might be worth a try if it can help curb your anxiety towards the building and tenants/interactions.

I say this in the most loving way: take your damn meds and keep going. Do youtube and hobbies because they give you joy, but don't expect them to pay for you. If you need to find another way to make things work, do it. Take care of yourself, and do what you need to. You're ok, you're just in stress and survival mode

@@hisnameisAkin I've had to be on meds, and while it did take a minute to find what I needed, they did help. It can feel unwanted(?) if you aren't expecting or aren't used to the effects. Honestly should be on them now, but American, so I'm screwed. Take advantage of what I can't . Oh, and I actually did my first doll custom in part because of how much fun you and Dollightful made it seem. Her name is Maria and I have decided I hate all things involving hair, but I love her, so thanks for the inspiration

it's just my opinion but maybe the reason why your channel hasn't grow enought is because it's kind a niche? I absolutely follow you because you make cute bara dude but i don't know how many people who watch Dollightful are intersted in that particuliar kind of doll too? Maybe collaboring with yaoi or bara artist would help you attracting the attention of a public that would be into it. In any case i love your content and i hope you can make a living wage out of it, stay strong!

It's so frustrating to watch good channels and talented people struggle with getting their work noticed. KZread seems like such a chaotic platform to try and make a living out of, but I think that opening a kofi membership is worth a shot. I hope the rest of your vacation treats you well!

i don't think you're asking for too much by asking for more. your videos are great, you have an amazing sense of humor, and your customs are top notch. i think especially with the way other bara-focused content is starting to hit its' stride in recent times yours will too - but maybe the thumbnails and titles are holding you back. just a little 😅😂 anyways - i'm rooting for you to reach your goals and i'll absolutely become a kofi member just to be able to vote on future projects.

While we have different lives, I can relate to: - a job that entails essentially dealing with assholes day in day out - depression - disappointment. You can exchange your meds if they aren't working but as you said you took just one, they haven't kicked in yet. Give it a try. They don't have the effect you think they have. At some point the intrusive "this sucks, I suck, life sucks, I don't want to exist anymore, is this it, life will suck forever" get quieter and you start feeling more satisfied, not doped up. Promise me you'll try if you haven't and that you will get other meds if you've actually tried and they didn't work well. I promise you will feel more productive, more artistic, more motivated, and will have an easier time dealing with day to day life. As for the rest, I'm happy to help share the word of this glorious channel. Love from Italy!

Man... Gonna be honest here and say that I'd been coming back to your channel to rewatch the same 3 videos that teach the things that I use the most (or debate on using) on my own customs. Your videos are my favorite by far in this community, very educational and fun to watch. I'm activating the bell now to watch every future content. I've been a very bad supporter haha I don't think there's anything wrong with your videos and I couldn't especulate on why you're not growing 'cause I have no clue about how this whole thing works. I just hope you can get at a better place in your life soon and that you're able to grow here as well. Unfortunately I have no one to share your videos with because my doll collector friends are Brazilian and can't speak English, but I'll try my best. You asked for help, and here is the help I can give you: Please, as others have stated already, try other meds. There are a few people who are close to me whose entire lives were turned around by the right medication. Giving up after one pill is just not fair to yourself. Of the people close to me who were helped, most of them took citalopram, but there are so many meds out there that have helped people, it's just a matter of finding the right match for you. Talk to your doctor and work together to find your match. In terms of your channel, here's my advice on what you could do to build viewership: - Improve your production values on the videos. This can be as simple as better lighting and a 'prettier' work surface. There are dozens of websites and KZread videos that give advice on how to improve production values, even on a budget. And if you wanted to get a new camera or something I'm sure some viewers would be happy to chip in. - Stick to what you're good at. Don't feel pushed to get cutesy and do female dolls. You are correct in saying that you're in an untapped area. Be yourself and stick to your strengths, and within that category maybe experiment with different types of projects to see which styles and characters resonate most with your audience. - The number one thing you can do to get more viewers is upload more videos. People have suggested unboxing or other things like that - I don't know about it. I am here for your dolls - I think most people are here for your dolls. It would be better to post doll customization more frequently. I know a lot of doll customizers work on multiple doll projects at once, filming all the while, and then upload each project when its complete. You might want to give that a try rather than waiting until you've completed one project to start the next. I think these are enough challenges to work with so I won't overwhelm. If you did these three things, it would probably make a big difference. Good luck.

Being a building manager sucks. I can appreciate where you are coming from. I think your videos are great, you do some of the most impressive body mods. Cursing isn't an issue for me. Your Dollightful colab is how I found your work. I would never expect $100 to be enough for anyone in 3 months! This morning I recommended your videos to some friends. I hope that can help. I work minimum wage, I wish I could help people in these scenarios, but I currently live pay check to pay check. I agree, I don't think the building manager position is working for you. Personally, having had many jobs, including management and accounting jobs, I am doing best in a job where I stock a store. I love it. Yes it is early, yes it is physical, yes it is minimum wage, but it means I have some consistent income and I have time to do the things I love. I don't have a KZread channel because I know how much work it is, how unstable it can be. Also, not a doctor, but I think you might need to make a try of the medication your doctor prescribed. Having been on and off meds, and having changed meds many times, that feeling of /nothing/ does go away. It isn't an instant fix. There are no guarantees. But your doctor prescribed it for a reason and it can help things get better. I hope your situation improves soon. Best wishes.

Make popular characters, and maybe engage the audience in the customizing process! It won't be easy, but it might be the beginning. ive heard the algorithm promotes youtube shorts really well, maybe try making shorts that are either clips from videos or montages of parts of the project coming together? maybe a link to the whole video to see the full process and finished doll would drive traffic to the vid. i think shorts get promoted more but you get less revenue for them, so using them as ads or teasers may be the move? some people also use tiktok the same way.

How honest you are in this video proves that you're human. Maybe if you take a step back and write pros and cons between videos that do well and videos that do not so well.

As someone who suffers from sever depressive disorder this is just petty, I struggle each day to function like a “normal” human in society. I even had to take a break from work and checked my self in to hospital. It took me a full year to find meds that actually worked for me. It’s not going to be easy, there is no magic switch to make everything okay. You have to work for. Life is not fair nor is it easy if you have a dream you have to work for it. Don’t like your job find a new one. I understand struggling and having a hard time but asking for my money that I work my ass for daily for is not fair. Supporting your channel and art is another thing but you have to show it’s worth investing in. I lost some respect for you. Sorry your struggling, but do something about it instead of begging for scraps.

I hope everything goes well for you. If I'm being honest the thumbnails are what might be holding back more people from watching your videos. With all due respect they look kinda bad.usually people typically look for either pretty or aesthetically pleasing to the eye thumbnails or funny and eye catching ones. It might be worth looking into graphic design and color theory or taking inspiration from other KZreadrs whose thumbnails look good.

First of all: Take your medication. Not trying to be rude but it's absurd not taking it just because you're adapting and didn't like the effects. You could always speak with your therapist and search for an alternative or reduce dosis. If you don't get treated you will only avoid the problem until it reaches you again and worse than before. About your channel, sadly I think your channel's persona is what makes it hard to grow: 1. Mainly male dolls: It's very rare to see and I love the way you make them, but most people prefer females. Take Catherine's newest video, she also admits people prefer more when she makes girls. Don't know the reason but it's a fact 2. Swearing: while not a big deal, it certainly doesn't open more doors in KZread's algorithm and general views. Kids can totally watch family friendly content, but only teens and adults can watch something with swearing. Which also leads to a third topic: the thirsty content 🔞🔥🔥🔥. That's something definitely KZread would put on more obstacles to reach everyone. Not that every video has 🔥🔥, but even by making just 1 for KZread it's a nono. Hope you get better, sometimes you're a little too bold for me but I LOVE your honesty, can't complain when you've warned me beforehand lol
