How I'm Able To Train With a Torn Meniscus

Спорт

We're used to avoid pain whenever we get injured, especially in the knees, but the truth is that pain isn't always bad and learning how to work with it is key in order to deal with injuries.
I tore my meniscus 2.5 years ago and have been dealing with it on a daily basis ever since, and I've learned what exactly and doesn't when it comes to this injury, and other I've had over the years.

I'm 3 knee surgeries in, first was a meniscus tear surgery, then a lcl release, and recently a realigment of the knee cap trough reataching the tendon to a medial position. Right now , split squats with the front foot elevated are working wonders, and improving much faster. Also love love love Poliquin step ups. Working on nordics and reverse nordics, with the most pathetic range of motion you ever saw, but it feels great, and steadily improving Squats on a slant board feel great to

Talk about timing 😉 Badminton was not good last week and now I'm thinking a lot about movement for this part of my body. For me it is a new sport, new aches and pains, but fun, especially double games.✌ Cheers 🙏

does this mean you are only able to do active squatting movement and can't hang out in a resting squat anymore? or have you built back to the point where you can hang out in a resting squat?

I can be in the rested position now more than before, but still taking my time and doing it as little as I can
