Your audio is outstanding! And I love your story! I was diagnosed as diabetic a little over two years ago, fortunately on a routine doctor visit and not response to an issue. Since then I have been on oral meds. I recently started a program through work and have dropped two of the three oral meds, and counting down! And I love riding recumbents and trikes too.

That's awesome! Keep up the good work. Going plant-based with no oil. No dairy, no meat, no eggs, no animal products of any kind was extremely hard but it has become so worth it. I feel so much better all the time.

Great video, it's really cool getting to see the deer and the train towards the end of the video!

I enjoyed following you on your ride this morning. I just purchased a TerraTrike E. V. O in January and glad the Michigan weather has allowed me to get out and ride. I asked a comment on an earlier video of yours when I was thinking about buying a trike. My balance has become an issue and thought this might help me continue riding. Your answer was very helpful. Thank you. We'll be in your area a few days for the "big event" as my brother and sister-in-law live in Kenton. If i see you on the road I'll give you a shout. Way to go, Ohio Bike Rider, on your diet and exercise. I ride an HP Gekko and really liked watching your video. You sure have some great camera gear. We have lots of deer here in rural Indiana. Tracks in the snow right up to our back door. I suppose they're disappointed I don't answer at 3 am and give them some food. Thanks for sharing your adventure.🙂

Great video. I was able to get my A1C down below 5.6 with a plant-based way of eating. Triking keeps the weight off. I'm 78

Congratulations! Your audio and visual is very good! I too drive truck, or did. I developed migraines which put me out of commission. I have a regular bike which I love, it's fast and comfortable I want to get my wife a trike, likely with a motor so she can go farther. Keep up the good work!

Love that you are plant based . Me as well I got a cat trike villager and love recumbents. I only ride rails to trails . We have a lot of trails in PA . Thanks for the great video.

Hello Ohio Bike Rider from Lancaster County, Pa. Great job at reducing your weight by 80 lbs. with diet and exercise. I'm a fellow recumbent trike rider (Disabled) and Type 2 diabetic and my wife is a Type 1 diabetic. We both watch our carbohydrate intake. I also wear a Libre 3 and take the following diabetic medications - Metformin, Ozempic, Tresiba, and Fiasp. Take care and... Keep on Triking!

Im in alliance ohio and really looking at the recumbent option. Rode for 20 years now and it just appeals to the longevity of riding and health of the body. Really looking at catrike and ICE. Ur helping sway that opinion some 😀

That's great if you can get to Columbus Ohio to bicycle one we will let you ride both of them he'll adjust the bike so you can do it they're very helpful. If you do tell him I sent you I've been in there a few times now. I really like the expedition. The 559 is very nice. It folds and has suspension cost more. You could afford it. It is a really nice option. It's nice to get on the different ones and check them out and they will adjust them to fit you.

There are lots of great recumbent options. I do like the fact that Catrike is made in the USA

For grilling your veggies and making you own veggie burgers I use a George Forman electric grill . Use parchment paper and you can grill with no oil and easy clean up.

Sounds like you did the Starch Solution by Dr. McDougall. Nice, I lost weight on that too. Congrats on your losing the weight and getting off the meds! I am looking to get a recumbent trike. Been binge watching other peoples trike videos. Thank you for your time.

Though in Utah, as is Ohio, winter is cold and I desire to have some hot meals. Makes me want to live somewhere mostly warm so I can be raw all year, and once I get my trike, to ride mostly year round. That's my dream goal. Do you have any friends that ride with their dogs? any of them 45 lbs ish, what trailer would you recommend for safe riding towing them behind?

@@autumngrace8541 I think the company is called Burley that makes the trailer my grandkids ride around in. It is a pretty good quality trailer. You could certainly call your dog in there. How about a list of add-ons that you have on the tadpole. From the tail light to the gear set up. I am in the same position with my CDL. Do a walk around inspection of the tadpole with links.

Great video. I'm from Rushsylvania Ohio in logan county. I'm 50 and was diagnosed with young-onset parkinson's disease at 40. I've been looking at recumbent trike for exercise. We have lots of big hills but we do have flat places to ride but still have some hills. How much effort you need with out having electric assistant.

Hello, I don't live too far from you. I live in Hardin county, Dunkirk, Ohio. Worked at Morton Billings for nearly 30 years. I know some folks that live down in your area. Lue Neal comes to mind I watched one of your videos you resemble him. As far as how hard it is to pedal if you're not in a hurry. It's not a problem. You can go as faster or as slow as you want and there's plenty of gearing and like anything, the more you do it the easier it is. And you don't have to worry about falling over and I get more respect from drivers on it than I did when I rode two wheeled bike. I am on Facebook if you want to message and talk more Greg isen

Oh she was super friendly about it. She was just stunned people do not take it upon their self and take that initiative to do it. I've had many people ask me how I did it and I've told them and they told me I'm not doing that and would rather take the pills. I feel so much better. I'm not going back. I have a DOT Physical coming up in a couple weeks. First time in a long time but I have not been worried about it. I've got this. Thanks for your comment. Have a great day.

It does well in the hills. As long as the old body holds up. I don't have electric assist but the bike is geared very well does a good job in the hills. It rolls very nice.
