I will always recommend the odin project. It is the perfect combination. Literally from 0 to full stack.

Agree with you, Amazing course, recommend Odin for starters and Full Stack Open for React. Video courses just worked well for me.
Cool video! As someone that has been watching your video, since high school, you inspired me to apply to ucr. Now, as ucr student, you have inspired me to dive deeper into coding.

Be naturally smart. In reality most people won’t do it cuz they don’t really want to and aren’t smart enough to have a curiosity to learn it

The discipline part is definitely the hardest. Especially in the beginning.
Personally I found following a book to the most effective as it had tasks at the end of each chapter to practice what you'd learned

Yeah, many people prefer the text based courses much more. I agree with you the practice after each section is definitely a key step for both video or text based learning.

I am glad you enjoyed the video! What part of coding are you into/looking to get into? Currently doing web dev, but going to dabble into some Python

It's because its the most popular coding field right now, its also the easiest to learn and the most in demand. But yea to be honest I kind of had enough of wev dev for now the field is too oversaturated so im learning mobile development now.

Questions 1. How do you remember all of this? 2. Do you need inspect element to be able to code? 3. How long did it take you to learn all of this? 4. Can you make a tutorial video for JavaScript?
@WillWang

Of course! 1. Each course takes a while to finish and I wrote down the steps while I was learning to code. 2. I am confused about this question, can you elaborate? 3. This took me about 6 months 4. If the interest is there, I would be happy to make a basic overview video :)

i know this is you, and everyone has their own way, but I would like to know, how much time did you take to become a decent employable programmer ? thanks. and ty for your video.

Hey! When I was first started, I coded every morning for 3-4 hours and worked on the business at night. I would say it took me around 4 months- 6 months to be decently comfortable.
