Good stuff man. I am trying to decide between this cooler or the insulated ice barrel 300. They are both about the same size, but insulated. The biggest difference I can tell is one's position while in it. Upright in the ice barrel and laying down while in the cooler.

The research gets to you after a while. I was looking into so many different brands until I made my purchase. You would just need to DIY with the ice barrel, but still a solid product. Polar Monkeys is a cool one as well.

Get a 150gal metal trough, build enclosed wooden box frame around it, fill with high density spray foam and build high dense cover. I know this bc I have a ice bathing service company and it keeps the water cold forever.

How hot does the chiller get? If it were to be placed in a smaller sized room? Also once it reaches the temperature does it turn off so it's not running so hard?

The chiller range for user-set temperature is 39°F to 90°F (3°C to 32°C). Boost function accelerates the chilling process with two available options: 2-hour setting chilling and continuous (24 hrs/day, 7 days/week) setting for maximum chilling. Yes once it reaches the temp is shuts off and then if it starts to raise it turns on to set temp back to where you set it.

@@AR_ROGUE Whoops I meant in terms of the chiller being on 24/7 and blowing hot air. I guess if it auto shuts off on it's own it shouldn't get too hot right?

Yes, no issues at all closing the ice bath lid with that running through it.

Does your uv filter get goo/sliminess in it?

Honestly, I have not felt any slimy texture when I’ve grabbed it but I also have not taken it apart and felt inside.

The food-grade hydrogen peroxide does not contain dangerous chemicals and toxic materials, which means that there is nothing added to the hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide contains added chemicals and stabilizers. Hence it being effective and safer to apply in the water.

How much hydrogen peroxide do you put in?
