How I Juggle a UX Bootcamp With a Full Time Job
It's not easy to do, but here is my daily schedule so you can get an idea on how I am able to juggle the Avocademy UX bootcamp with my full time job as a physical therapist.

I found you through your ux 6 months in video and then noticed your other videos didn’t as many views however I believe you and your real genuine outlook on life and journey to be so relatable that I had to subscribe instantly ( I rarely subscribe to people especially lifestyle/goal constant?),especially since your going through it right now as of me finding these vidoes . I want to see this journey and try my best to find my own path similar to how you carve your own . I wish you luck and thank you for the further inspiration and motivation .
Hello! So glad I found your videos! I just completed foundations and I’m on the edge of applying for CJ. I also have a full time job with no other responsibilities. Seeing how your schedule is very similar to mine, I’m now more confident in doing CJ with my full time job. Thank you.

Oh yeah, you can definitely do CJ and a full-time job. It's not easy, but with some proper time management, you got this! 🙌
Great video! I always struggle when doing reworks in the foundations course. It takes me forever to rework my assignments.

Yeah it can feel deflating to have to redo assignments, but it's all part of the learning process I find. Keep going with it!
Hey good luck with your search for the job! I got an offer a week ago for my first official UX UI Designer role, super excited to start in April.

Hey! I love your content. I just watched your weekly review videos on avocademy and had a few questions in mind. 1. At the moment I am using free resources online to have prior understanding of UX before paying for a bootcamp and committing to it however I do not plan on taking the Career jumpstart program because I am thinking of designing apps for business owners I know and using those in my portfolio, what do you think about this idea? 2. On the first few weeks of the bootcamp you talked about UX research however I was confused about how we are supposed to find people to interview and even when we get a job is it our responsibility to find people to interview as well as test to later on ideate? Thank you for your informative content, I really appreciate the weekly uploads and I hope you land a job soon!

Hey Maryam those are great questions! For your first question, you can absolutely design apps for businesses. That's what I was going to do prior to CJ, but it turned out to be a lot of ideas, and not a lot of execution on my part. Further, the benefit of CJ is you get to collaborate with other designers and project managers, something that is ESSENTIAL to working in a company. For the 2nd question, yes you have to find people to interview and do user testing. I talked about it in one of my videos, but I used Reddit to get a large majority of my users to do my survey and interview. Appreciate you watching, and good luck on your UX quest!

Great, Thank you so much for the reply! I appreciate your time and hard work 😊
I just started the Google UX certification program and it’s really good material but not for technical beginners.

I wanted to get paid to do creative work, be able to work remotely, and ultimately have a skill that I can freelance so I can work for myself

@@jansleyreal Great answer, you will definitely achieve that. I am in CJ right now myself, but not as far along in the process as you are. I might advise getting a job first in order to have that backing your name when you go freelance and just to pay off the CJ tuition unless that would not be much of an issue for you either way.
