For the people confused on removal: The hair she wrapped around her braid will be clipped at the root. That hair will automatically unravel exposing her natural braid. She unravels her natural hair until she gets to the hair she looped onto her natural heir. That hair slides right out. She finishes taking her natural braid out. This method is actually tension free. Just appears a bit more confusing but it’s honestly not.

@@mrsvanessahicks with that comes patience and good eye sight. I slowly slide the blade of my shears between what looks like two spaces of synthetic hair. Once I can confirm that it is not my hair I clip. The more you recognize the synthetic hair versus yours the easier it gets. Unfortunately this is not an “everyone” type of task. You’ll have to recognize synthetic hair versus real over time

if you guys don’t want to cut your hair?? after you feed the loc in, crotchet your real hair at the top by folding it. that way you don’t have to worry about cutting it.

This is true I cut one bread off last night. I am now extremely upset with myself. I wouldn’t recommend this method unless you have an expert to take it down.

I installed some chunky faux locs this same way once and accidentally cut a chunk of my hair rushing to take them down smh ha ha. It’s grown back since then tho lol that’s the only reason I said this looks hard to take down. Because I’ve been there! They were horrible to take down and my locs were really fat so I figured these small ones would be though. They look pretty tho

I wanted faux locs much until I saw the instillation process ! I’ll stick to crocheting them into cornrows. That still looks good and you don’t have to unravel it! Plus cornrows are very protective!
