How I Got Where I Am

Фильм және анимация

A partial history of my work. Because perpetual motion is considered as impossible, I was banned from perpetual motion forums for being a fraud.

I haven't really been back to "said forums" in a while. The topics were way too often just repeat posts and the tone of the place was negative verging on toxic... I just went back to see what's going on and the communication between both admin and users was atrocious and unprofessional imho. You would think a lot of people interested in the same thing could at a minimum be supportive instead nay-saying and blanket proclamations of fraud or theft. I remember back before Y2K maybe back to 95? People were at least polite to each other, you can still learn from new thoughts and designs, even frauds. I guess society writ large have chosen to go the wrong direction, gone are the days of careful thought out responses, replaced by witty "twits" and short retorts. I wish you the best of luck, I still maintain some of my initial wonder and interest in the subject, but found out that sharing your unfinished thoughts with others is counterproductive to success. That being said it is best to document and help push the entire field with its very often negative users "kicking and screaming" towards a useful conclusion to our Search. :)

Sometimes I think it's the Ancient Rome syndrome. We are rich and powerful. I often pleaded with people to not repeat what Bessler went through. And interestingly enough I am 1/2 Norwegian and 1/2 American. While I work to finish the display model I'll be mindful of your post. It is nice to know that someone else feels the same way that I do and I Thank You.

If I would've used tapered roller bearings on my most recent build, it might've worked. I am building a much simpler concept right now.
