The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% toner is a good dupe for the pixi one, it's also waaaay cheaper and you get SO much product. I totally recommend it :)

Alpha Skincare is another great line to check out! There are several glycolic acid products with an effective pH range. The prices are VERY reasonable.

Aysha, you not having the hyperpigmentations anymore explains why I haven’t seen you use any color correction products lately.

Yes, Caudalie IS working. Been using for a little more than 3 weeks and I am amazed by the result

I've self diagnosed myself with melasma, and hyper pigmentation in certain spots and you're a million percent correct, SUN SCREEN is the best thing I've discovered of late. Usually I dred summer because of the impact it has on my skin but since using sunscreen, it's improved so much and the sun makes me glow rather than become dry and burn. Love it. It's such a dangerous misconception that black people don't need to protect their skin in the sun. You look stunning btw :) x

😢I tried the vinoperfect serum and essence and my skin DID NOT like it at all. Broke out in a rash and my hyperpigmentation got worse. Ah well! Everything won't work for everyone. Ladies, the take away lesson: try and get samples before you spend the money and do a patch test! Lol I sure learned the hard way.

I have no idea. I've used products with fragrance before with no issues. But fragrance can be any number of chemicals so it could very well be. I might test out the drunk elephant products and see how those go!

I probably should have made a disclaimer at the beginning of this, but yes products can absolutely work differently on everyone. Possibly you were allergic to one of the ingredients in the line :(

I wish I could try all the skincare products that people recommend on YT but my skin is hypersensitive. I literally get the worst allergic reactions from a lot of products especially Clinique. I once tried their moisturizer & I ended up with a red rash on my entire face, my face had swelled up @ my eyes were closed shut & my skin was hot to the touch. It was so bad I had to go to the ER & had to get an epi shot & some strong antihistamines. I haven’t tried any new products since but I’m definitely living for first aid beauty, it literally changed my life. Every product that I’ve tried has done my skin well. I just wish they had some sort of vitamin c product because I definitely want to get rid of the hyper pigmentation around my mouth. But as far as the clarity & texture of my skin, it has never looked better & my skin is becoming a lot more normal vs dry. Anyway I still enjoyed watching the video & I just genuinely love watching skincare videos. I’m low key obsessed with it even though I pretty much can’t use any new products ☹️

Wow sis! Colour correct where? We don’t need that anymore! I’m really struggling with hyper pigmentation and scars on my face I definitely need to start looking after my skin my whole face has become darker than it should be and it’s because of a lack of self care. Xema can cause hyperpigmentation too. I fight that around my mouth and chin. I’m now using sunscreen. Who knew? I have had a dermatologist for ever. I use Differing gel daily and it really helps. 💜

Im currently using the caudalie vino serum... I used the full size bottle and I’m currently on the deluxe size and still haven’t seen any change. This is my last attempt. It’s $79 why should I have to use 3+ expensive bottles of a product to see change?? ... I don’t think this product is a recommendable product for darkskin women.

Hi ! Just so you know you cannot use an AHA/BHA and then vitamin C. The ph of these two are different, so basically using vitamin C after the glycolic acid is simply useless 🙂
