Beautiful watch. I live in a small town mid minnesota. We had a rolex dealer, no longer exist, this was back in '17- '18. I held that watch in my hand, they also had a ceramic daytona and a Hulk, as well as an good assortment of many steel rolexes. I get sick of my stomach now knowing I could have bought them at retail. How times change. I remember thinking the ceramic daytona was too expensive, Rrrrg! I think the retail was < 14k. I ended up buying a lightly used, perfect condition Rolex GMT M2 with box and papers at a great price. It actually doubled in price since.. Love the watch but I always think what it could of been.

New to your channel. I have been collecting Rolex, AP, PP, FPJ, and Omega for years. Your description of the trade seems way too good to be true. Your friend gave you a BLNR about $5k-6k below retail value at a minimum. I have a lot of friends who are into watch collection and they would never, ever gave such a huge discount. I really think you should have that watch authenticated by another dealer.

Congrats! Here is how I got my Bruce Wayne (BLNR on Jubilee). I visited an AD end of June (out of state, no purchase history) and got blown off. Couple days later I called the manager and explained my experience. He apologized and assured me that his people are not usually like that. We talked watches and he asked me what I was looking for. I told him the Z-Blue Milgauss and the Pepsi on jubilee. I got the call for the Milgauss from another out of state AD (also no purchase history) after a six week wait, so I called him and let him know so he wouldn't be trying to get me a watch I already had. Next time we talked was early August when I added the BLNR on jubilee to my list. Called him two weeks ago and told him I was going to visit the following weekend. Texted him last Thursday asking if he would be there Friday. He asked what time, I told him. He then told me he had a Batman for me. It can happen.

@@watchyourstyle No, and I told that manager that I didn't want the Pepsi anymore. I haven't yet let the other ADs I'm dealing with know I don't want it yet. To be honest, not sure how I will feel until I get the call, assuming one day it actually happens.

Looks quite similar to a Steinhart Ocean GMT 39. I can see where Rolex get their ideas from now.

The Batman on jubilee is a must in a Rolex collection . It makes it different enough than the sub to have both

You can get tool watches that resemble the E1 and it’s not possible to do that for the batgirl. Amazing amazing deal.

Good on ya. I'm from NorCal and same deal here. Unless you are a high VIP at the AD, you are assed out on the GMTs. And VIP client means spending $150k-$200k at the AD to keep them happy so they allocate a piece to ya without having to wait for 5 years to get one. This is the reason why these are being sold for 100% net profit in the grey market.

Very few scratches when I first picked it up. The scratches were a result of normal wear and tear :)

I picked up my Batman on a jubilee band last Christmas and couln't be happier.

That’s the same reason why I started my luxury watch collection! Too much technology on me and I wanted good quality mechanical watches👌🏾

I was very lucky to pick up the Batman at the AD last weekend. I went to that particular AD two weeks earlier just to see how empty the case was. But then the SA came to me and I told him I was looking for Batman more than 2 years. He took my name down for Batman then he showed Tudor Back Bay GMT and Pelagos. I decided to buy Back Bay GMT from him. A week after I got a call from him that they allocated this Batman. I was very happy and I love this watch.

You are so lucky and that’s a good deal worth every dollar

KZread reviewers who are posting jubilee Batman videos within the last year seem to be loving the Batman on jubilee too and prefer it over the oyster 👍

Why would you do that lol! Jubilee makes this watch pop and separates it from the subs out there. Plus it is so much more comfortable snd more scratch resistant than oyster pcl

Each has its perks! Still like the sub more, but for my small wrist the Batman wears way better

I use to have that watch my self. But then one day I got pulled over. I was taken out out of the car and I told the cop that I didn’t leave anything on the seat. But in truth I left the Rolex on the seat before I got out. He let me go scott free, but I no longer owned the Rolex :( Have to say it was worth every penny.

The only thing is that I would like to be there when inspection started. What if the guy with Batman bribe the watch guy $1,000 and have him saying it’s all authentic? Nowadays those fake ones even have access to the real parts and use partial real and partial fake to make a fake watch. I will never ever buy anything from another person.

Hey, thanks for stopping in. Totally understand and appreciate the concerns you have raised. Was super skeptical at first too. Firstly, I do have the utmost trust in my watchmaker as he was trained by Rolex and works at an actual Rolex AD. He also serviced my Explorer I last year and does outstanding work. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. Additionally, I traced the purchase history back to the grey market dealer as well as the AD the watch was originally sourced from. Both parties confirmed that the watch was in their possession. The watch also has the performance, accuracy, build quality, and tactile elements I’ve come to expect with my experience handling Rolex watches. All three elements gave me the assurance I needed.

Congrats! Beautiful piece indeed. Love the story, ditch digital and get a Rolex instead.

Now for your trade The Batman is a way better watch you made the right choice. I myself have one in my collection. And just so you know the New Batman the ones that came on the Jubilee you can buy an oyster bracelet from an AD in case you felt like swapping it out for a weekend.
