Most memorable moment is in 2000 when Schumacher breaks down during the post race interview where he tied the same number of wins that Ayrton Senna. It had to be so heartbreaking for him because he was the car behind Senna when he crashed 😢

I’m a big Michael Schumacher fan. Supporting Schumi over the years has given me many, many proud moments and great memories. Far too many to list. To be honest, I feel proud just walking down the street with a Schumi cap on or wearing a Schumi tee! But definitely my proudest memory is from Silverstone 2012. It was my final chance to see my hero race in person, and what an awesome weekend it was. Just waking around the circuit over the 3 days, wearing a Schumi top, I was so proud. Interestingly, there were so many other fans there supporting Schumi, wearing Schumacher caps that weekend. He was also the only driver to have his own merchandise stand in the fan zone. I had a large custom red banner made for my trip to the Grand Prix. It simply said: ‘Michael SCHUMACHER’ in large white lettering and listed the years of his title wins below. On the Saturday I hung the banner along the pit straight and watch Michael drive absolutely sublimely in the wet conditions, he qualify P3. Then on the Sunday, I was sat at Stowe. (Always had this weird thing, the lowest point in Michael’s career was his leg-breaking accident at Stowe corner and since then, the 3 times I’ve attended Silverstone, I’ve always sat at Stowe, virtually behind where he hit the tyres that day, with a Schumi banner on front of the grandstand, it’s weird it’s as if I’m trying to show Michael support in what was a previously dark location for him. Reclaiming it as a positive location for Team Schumacher!) But I sat at Stowe for the 2012 British GP race and put my banner on the front of the grandstand. Amazingly, Michael seen the banner on the drivers parade and waved! A brilliantly proud and emotional moment for me personally. He then had a decent race too, given the car he was driving. For the 2011 British GP, I had banner made that I took and displayed at Silverstone. It said: Adelaide 94. Jerez 97. Austria 02. Indy 02. Monaco 06. Hungary 10. Actions the world hated but made me proud. My hero never surrenders. He fights to the very end. Schumi 4 Ever.

Thank you David. My favorite Schumacher moment was 1995 in Canada. Michael was the reigning world champion in his way to being champion for a second to time. We were sitting inside the hairpin and Alesi took his only F1 victory, brought his Ferrari to a stop in the hairpin and the crowd went crazy. Schumacher came along and picked up Alesi for a ride back to the podium. What a great moment. It showed how much Schumacher appreciated the sport.

Most memorable Schumacher moment was a soaking wet Spanish grand prix in 1996 at Catalunya! He drove and won an impeccable race in a car that was far from the best car on the grid, the lines he took and the way he nursed the car to victory, he was lapping 3sec faster than anyone else that day. Truely one of the greatest drives by the greatest F1 driver! I still have the headlines from the sports pages the following day, it reads: "Raining champion" #keepfightingmichael

Even though I watched most of his races right back to the Benetton days, I literally jumped out of my seat when he got pole for Mercedes in Monaco 2012. The Red Baron still had the gift. Sadly as we all know he had a grid penalty because they changed the gearbox (I think). But it was an amazing moment.

Imo the most beautiful F1 car ever. My most memorable Schumi moment is after a race with this car. After Rubens got ordered to let him pass right before the finish line in Spielberg 2002. On the podium Michaels face told everything and he pulled Rubens to the top, where he belonged. I still remember that moment when i saw it as a kid on TV, watching together with my late dad. It did show the humble side of Michael as he stood there in shame, even tho it wasnt his fault. That was something else for me back then when i did see one of my greatest childhood heroes like that. As for Rubens, i just love this guy. Champion of hearts!

2006, Brazil. I know that after the puncture they turned that car up to 11, but his pace and pristine performance to race through the pack for his last race with Ferrari was nothing short of God Mode. No, he didn't win the race, and so narrowly missed out on the championship, but he cemented his gift to motorsport as the GOAT with an exclamation mark, that day, for me. That performance was IMPECCABLE. God Mode. The pit lane knew, the drivers knew, and motorsport fans knew. We'll not see his like again. The gladiators are gone.

I remember the Quali in Japan in 2000 where him and Mika battled each other for pole position. Amazing to watch. F2002 was for me the most beautiful car however. Anyway, I am working in Motorsports and I had a nice chat once with one of Michael's former mechanics. I asked him if it was true how Michael motivated the team to work hard and he confirmed. He was there also late with the mechanics bleeding the brakes etc.. That was amazing to hear that and also to he able to chat to one of his former mechanics with an espresso in Italy. Same year I met Rubens in Spa where his son was racing in Spanish F4. Rubens is such a nice guy. Completely down to earth. I was once at the Nurburgring in a FP session for F1 as a kid. I will never forget Micheal did only one lap as they had a problem with the car. I still remember his car, the red helmet. It was like slow motion when he passed. Later, he apologized to the fans that he couldn't run more for the fans to see him. Seems like he really cared for many things. Sad what happened to him but he inspired me to work in this field

My main memory of Michael was him coming back to race from a broken leg in 1999, he was out of the running for the championship and he assisted his teammate Irvine at the time to try win the driver’s championship. They very nearly succeeded. Had they succeeded, Irvine and not Michael would have achieved the massive feat of winning it for the first time in 20 years for Ferrari. That level of unselfishness in an otherwise self-centred sport was truly amazing. That moment showed me everything there is to know about the true Michael Schumacher. He was much more than just a talented driver. He is one of F1’s biggest ever personalities.

I remember him battling Mika and Alonso but one of the races that stands out to me is the one where him and his brother ralf started 1st and 2nd,i think it was Imola.Their mother had unfortunately passed away and they had made trips in between to visit her and I'm sure she was as proud as can be looking down on them as they stood 1st and 2nd on the podium after the race. The amount of courage it took to get in that car after your mother just passed is incomprehensible. If both abstained from the race, nobody would fault them, but they raced

Favorite moment was the victory in 1999 Sepang. I think he had just came back from the Silverstone crash and just dominated! Super inspirational to me. At that point, I knew, he was going to begin his come back and set the stage for many more championships.

Michael Schumacher waving to me and a friend as we sat watching the mechanics pack up their garage at the end of the 2006 Spanish Grand Prix. Flew past in a helicopter, we're the only Ferrari fans still in the grandstand as everybody had left, and his face in the window waving out is unmistakeable.

Most memorable moment about Michael Schumacher was watching him in the 2012 season when I was only 8 years old, with his pole lap in Monaco but didn’t have pole in the race and his podium in Valencia and I won $2 from my grandfather who passed away 7 years ago and said if you guess who wins you get $1 and I said Alonso and I asked him can I guess who gets on to the podium and I said Schumacher and I won $2 from and for an 8 year old child that felt like winning on high stakes roulette. And of course his final race in Brazil I cared more about his last race then the championship fight with. Alonso vs Vettel, and he helped Seb win the title and he’s my favourite driver ever and 2nd Alonso. I born 2003 and never got to really witness Michael’s dominance but I like to go back and watch it and I loved the Netflix series about him.

My favorite story about Michael Schumacher is an anecdote a friend of my mom’s told us. She comes from close to Michael’s hometown of Kerpen and worked in marketing for a local firm that sponsored him in the mid to late 90s, which must have been around the time he went to Ferrari. They were shooting a commercial with him somewhere in southern Europe (it was really hot at the time) and for the time there, his management had asked the company to organize a training partner for him. They actually managed to get the national triathlon champion from there. Before the shoot they went to work out early in the morning and when they arrived back on set, the film crew saw the champion guy was completely worn out and in no condition to do anything. And if Michael was the same, they could just pack up and leave because they wouldn’t be holding schedule and it was too expensive. However, Michael casually strolled on set, just took a shower and went through with the shoot with no signs of exhaustion what so ever, as if he had just gotten out of bed. Goes to show how fit he always was, which I guess also enabled him to go on and win another 5 championships.

Watching him in 1994 at Silverstone in his Benetton Ford on the old abbey chicane, I sat with my father with the F1 cars coming towards us, braking hard and then flicking the car into the corner, each driver would move over as far as they could to the right of the corner, before flicking the car into the bend to reduce the steering angle and carry more speed, most drivers having all of the right front wheel on the white line, however Mika Hakkinen would go past the white line before then steering his McLaren into the bend, but Schumacher’s car went even further past the white line, flicking the grass lap after lap before turning in. That’s how I knew he was a different breed, a special driver, finding the smallest gains to give him the extra over other drivers.

Great addition to your impressive collection.. Feels strange that Ferrari is not keeping the car in a museum.. But I guess that if they can't you are a great option to keep the car. Also. I like that you always share your collection and you use the cars instead to keep in a close place without sharing them with the world...

Favorite Michael moment was not a Ferrari one, I was lucky enough to be in Montreal in 1995 and see Jean Alessi win for Ferrari, run out of fuel and Michael gave him a ride back to pits. So I got to see him and that for me was very special, but another moment was when he passed Senna for wins and at press conference he broke down and cried, that showed enormous RESPECT for Senna as his Hero. Nice Collection Mr. Lee.

My most memorable Michael Schumacher moment was Adelaide 1994 when he just needed to finish his benneton ahead of hill to win the championship. He went off on the last few laps. Rejoined and realised damon hill was overtaking him so shunted into the side of his car and pushed him out of the race. Hill continued the last few laps of the race. Schumacher was out. But luckily for Schumacher, hills suspension was ruined and he had to retire

One of Schumacher's most memorable moments was undoubtedly Budapest 98. Ross Brawn opting to run a three-stop strategy at the 1998 Hungarian Grand Prix in a bid to defeat McLaren was clever, bold… and utterly sadistic. Basically, in the muggy Hungarian heat, Brawn was asking his driver to bash out qualifying laps for an hour and 45 minutes to make the strategy viable. Fortunately for Brawn, his driver was Michael Schumacher, with Ferrari’s technical director able to call on all of the German’s exceptional speed and stamina to help topple their rivals. Schumacher executed the strategy to a tee to take one of his most emotional victories, and help bring himself back into title contention - for that moment, at least - with Mika Hakkinen.

My favourite moment was Spa 2000... It still give me chills to see this overtake manouver. Anyway, I think as costly as it is, it is quite nice from them to offer the cars to collectors and let them drive / race in out. Altough beeing a nightmare to maintenance, thes cars are made for racing. I think this is a pretty unique approach as far as I know, no other F1 team does it!? Maybe apart from Alpine / Renault / Lotus who had a service where you can "book" an F1 weekend and the let you race everything the had up to F1.

Much is said that Schumi was not a team player; but in Sepang 1999 he proved otherwise. Returning after breaking his leg in the British GP; he qualified in pole. Fellow Ferrari driver, Irvine, who was battling Hakkinen for the WDC, qualified second. Irvine also had the potential to be the first Ferrari F1 champion in 20 years. Schumi dominated the field in qualifying and could have won the race. After leading a few laps, Schumi slowed down and let Irvine through. He then held Hakkinen back for the rest of the race. Irvine left Sepang ahead in the WDC. I am glad that I was there to watch it in person.
