This same exact thing happened to me years ago, I was on 120 MG of Methadone, and I missed my dose, and had to go to work and I didn't want to be sick, so my friend gave me 3 Suboxin, which I had never taken before, so I made the biggest mistake of my life, and took all 3 at one time, right before I started work, and I had to get rushed to the Emergency room, in an Ambulance, and I thought I was gonna die. The pain was unimaginable, and I felt like I was in a cartoon, where reality felt like the worst Acid Trip, I felt my body and Soul was floating in the sky, above the clods, and into heaven, all while leaving work, without telling anyone, as the Manager in Charge, driving home on the freeway, swirving all through lanes, while throwing up constantly, the whole way home, all over myself, to where I couldn't even breathe, and was choking. I somehow made it home, not even knowing how to get there, got out of my car, crawled all the way to my front door, and towards my room, my clothes drenched in swear, but I was shivering cold, freezing my Ass off, so I turned the heater up to like 85 degrees, and crawled into bed, but fell off, still throwing up, all over my floor. My job called my Parents because I went missing, and they found me on my floor, barely breathing, and called 911, where I got rushed to the ER. No doubtedlly the dumbest mistake I've ever made, and it took almost a month for me to recover, lost my Job, and my mind. Got clean after that for a few years, but ended up back at the Methadone Clinic for the last 7 years, but have learned being on Methadone is the only thing that keeps my functioning at a high, normal level, and have come to grips, that I might have to be on it the rest of my life, sometimes you have to pick your poison, that will be the most beneficial to you, because I want to keep going forward, without taking 2 steps back.

I had basically the exact same experience, by far the worst day of my life! After many years on 135mg methadone I didnt have any and took 2 8mg suboxone for the first time in my life... THE worst experience of my life, seriously..😢😢😢 The way you described being in an acid trip was exactly how I felt, absolutely terrifying! I also felt drunk, dizzy as hell, like I was stuck in an acid trip nightmare from hell, also shit all over myself, kept kicking and punching the air uncontrollably.. I just cant believe how intense, scary, and awful it was!!! TBH it really didnt feel the same as normal withdrawl, it was completely different and a million times worse. That suboxone is some NASTY shit!!! I understand the reason why it can cause precipitated w/d but I dont understand why all the other crazy side effects. Thank God I got back on my methadone the next day and am okay now. I hope you are doing okay now as well!❤

I was a full fledged addict with the help of the VA after my tour in Iraq. The VA prescribed copius amounts of Oxycodone from 2006-2014. I started Bupenorphine in 2014-2020. I was on 15mg a day... I started to taper from 15mg down to 5 mg a day. Then down to .25mg a day. I jumped off one day and 9 days after I started feeling good. 3 days of RLS and no sleep. But today clean.... loving life now.

I’ll never forget what that was like. Straight up PTSD afterwards. First time I went to the doctor for Suboxone I didn’t know much about it. It was 24 hours after last use of any opiates and the doctor gave me 24mg of Suboxone right there in the office. The next 20+ hours were hell on earth that seemed like a week. After it subsided it took another 3-4 days to be more or less functional.

@@Soberdogs Yeah dude. The doctors gave me 24mg in the office right off the bat. I got in my car and started driving to work. 20 min later I almost crashed when the PWD kicked in. It was so bad I didn’t know what the hell was happening. By the time I got to work I was dying. Pouring sweat, pupils dilated like I was on molly, throwing up in the trash bin. I told my supervisor I think I have food poisoning and he gave me a break and told me to get lost somewhere. I went to the parking lot and got into the backseat of my car where I was flopping around like a fish out of water. Shaking and praying for a quick death. At one point I called the doctor and told him what’s happening and he told me to take more. I took another 8mg for a total of 32mg and it made it even worse. I spent the entire 8 hour shift in the back of my car occasionally opening the door to throw up. At the end of the shift I had to get my coworker to drive me home because I would’ve crashed the car. I had double vision on top of everything. Skin felt like it was on fire while freezing to death at the same time. After I got dropped off I crawled to my bed and spent the next 12 hours just shaking. The whole thing lasted more than 20 hours. Felt like an eternity. By morning it started to ease up and it turned into a regular withdrawal. I didn’t take more Suboxone until later in the day out of fear of feeling worse again. It didn’t help, but it didn’t make things worse either. It was about 3-4 days until the subs finally started providing relief. I ended up relapsing and went through a few more attempts to have a proper induction but always ended up in precipitated withdrawal. Waited 72 hours once and still the subs made it worse. I had a pretty bad habit and I realized my tolerance had to come down significantly if I was ever going to get subs to work. So I got serious about it and went to a detox where I roughed out a whole week before they gave me subs and it finally worked. It was instant relief for the first time out of countless attempts. That was 2 years ago and I haven’t went back to using since. I wouldn’t want to go through that hell again. Life is so much better now that I don’t wake up sick as f*ck with severe anxiety thinking about how I’m gonna get my dope today. Love your videos by the way. Thank you for responding to me.

I just experienced it last night. I've been on 90mg methadone for a while. Skipped a dose, banged 6g of H for hours. At the end I felt that I had taken too much, and being alone, I used two intranasal narcan sprays. The next hour or two I spend almost convulsing (jerking, involuntary movements, tremors), my body twisting with pain, agressive, irritated, confused, almost seeing a fever dream in the background, hurting everywhere, crying and screaming and wishing for the sweet release of death. When it stopped, it felt like it never happened. Like it was all a dream. But the pain was real, and unbearable. Today I feel lost. Incredibly sad. I felt so relieved when it stopped, but now it's like I'm shellshocked...

I'm very sorry for your loss, my wife passed the same way. It must have been pretty scary for you, seeing your husband in that condition because of cotton fever. In my part of the world it's unusual to use cotton wool for drawing up, most people use cigarette filters, or bits of cigarette filters. I'd had a few 'dirty hits' in my time (the worst time, it felt like someone was squeezing my kidneys in their fists, and I was puking up this bright yellow stuff. I actually thought I was dying!) Well, this _particular_ time, it wasn't quite as bad as what I just described, but I let this other person organise the filters - only unbeknownst to me, this 'genius' just picked a _used_ cigarette filter out of the ashtray... Well, _that_ went about as well as you might imagine! All that concentrated nicotine and tar _plus_ other people's saliva and globbed up lipstick and what all... "It's a winning combination!". Had to take to the bed for 3 days, feeling like my head was in a vice! Worst part though was feeling like a penguin chick waiting for its mother? Father? to come back with food, not knowing if they've been 'got' by a sealion or something; I'm depending on this same woman who put me in this position in the first place to score some gear, amps, tablets - _anything!_ and bring them back, so's I wouldn't have to add cold turkey into the mix. Trouble was, she was just about the most casually selfish person I've ever known in my life, short of being actively malicious..! Oh, and while I'm here, I've had the precipitated withdrawal thing as well, inadvertently. I'd just gotten out of hospital, and I'd managed to hold on to a 'Targin' tablet. Well, they're a fine pain~killer when used as intended by the manufacturers, but of course I had to be 'clever' - so I licked off the coating, crushed it up and snorted it. _BIG_ mistake. Big, big, mistake. This was against a background of a 150mg a day methadone habit. Well, like Joe(?) said, it just hits you like a ton of bricks. The withdrawals were that bad, and that sudden, that I didn't immediately recognize them for what they were! I was just slumped against this drain pipe, trying to hang on so I won't go down, water and mucus seemingly coming out of every orifice. Every sense was just _thrumming..._ it might almost have been nice, except all my inputs were reading _'Pain!'_ The worst part though, was that I had only literally just been discharged from hospital after abdominal surgery, so my wife - who didn't know what I'd done - thought that I'd suffered some sort of serious complication, and was all for calling 999 (our equivalent of 911) - I'm trying to stop her, figuring paramedics could only make the situation worse, but at the same time, I couldn't put her in the picture, because it would have killed her knowing I was 'back to my old tricks'! Anyway, lucky for me, the horrible feelings started to ebb away after about an hour, and after 2, I was pretty much back to myself, albeit in need of a shower and a lie down. Of course, it transpired that what had happened was that the manufacturers had added Naloxone to the formula, following a wave of abuse of the tablets in, I believe, Australia in the '70's. Taken orally, they did 'exactly what it says on the tin', as the old varnish slogan went, but prepare them for insufflation (snorting) or injection and you would quickly discover that this particular morsel was hiding a barbed hook! I just thank God that I hadn't also been able to cop a~hold of a 'gizmo' and spike while I was in the hospital as well...

I was at a point in my addiction where I was shooting heroin and cocaine. I use to also shoot my Suboxone too just because I had a needle fixation. So I was at the end of a huge cocaine and heroin binge and i was doing my cotton shots. While I accidentally mistook a Suboxone cotton for a cocaine cotton. Now because it was an injection, the precipitated withdrawals were crazy. I was projectile vomiting (never have done that in my life) and i immediately realized what I did. Between puking I was screaming "it was fucking Suboxone" over and over.

**** I was in treatment about 2 years ago. Some guy snuck in heroin and went to the bathroom and shot up. 30 minutes later he went to the nurse to start his suboxone induction. I fucking absolutely shit you not, you could hear the guy scream all across the campus. I heard he was bleeding out of his eyes and ears and I think someone told me he died but I’m not sure. I was discharged that day. Oh and for any of you thinking of going to treatment. It’s helpful to get you clean and give you a break from using but it doesn’t work. I absolutely would recommend suboxone to get off dope or to stay on for your life. I quit fighting it - that is, the need to be completely clean. No take 2mg every day and I’m good. I’m on it for life

Hey man, I had this exact thing this morning. You describe it very very well. Absolutely debilitating. I am on Buvidal injections every 4 weeks. Last week I was unable to have my injection because my doc was unavailable. I was into my fifth week. I stupidly took a small amount of Tramadol to release withdrawal. I had my Buvidal injection yesterday. I felt good that night but woke up this morning in immediate intense withdrawal. I have since had 4mg of Suboxone and am feeling relatively stable. Was what I experienced precipitated withdrawal? And, now that I have stabilised, will my buvidal start working properly again without the Suboxone?

My key worker thinks im only on 30 a day though and im changing to suboxone next week. I no they will only start me on a low dose. Do you think the 60 every other day is the same as 30 a day as my body has had time to go without.? And should i get another box of subs off my boy and just take like 20mg just to get it out the way since they will only start me on like 2mg???

Hey Bro I always thought what caused the precipitated withdrawal was the Naloxone not the Buprenorphine. The Naloxone is the active in Narcan. Or do they just put it in there so it can’t be used intro? Or is that what the 3D texture is all about? Not saying your wrong, I just assumed thats the way it was. I was a lonely junkie. Once the Suboxone is out of your system, you will have your normal natural withdrawal, as well. I'm sorry, it sucks. A lot of people actually put themelves into precipitated withdrawal, thinking their withdrawals will be all done after PW ends, but it just doesn't work that way. The opiates that were knocked off by the Suboxone are still floating around in your brain, and they reattach to the receptors as the suboxone leaves. Once these opiates start leaving the receptors, you will go through natural withdrawal. The good news is that it will feel like a tickle compared to the PW!

you need Jesus my man. He's coming back very, VERY soon! it's almost judgement day! if you aren't with Jesus, you're not saved. doesn't matter what you believe, disbelief won't save you from the eternal lake of fire in hell. Jesus died on in the cross as a sacrifice so that anyone who comes to Him & repents will be saved! but He will not force you to love Him, because that goes against the very free will in which God created us to have. plus, it wouldn't be true, real love. it'd be forced & programmed....& God is all about real love. demons & fallen angels are running this joint....for now. they know their time is very limited before Jesus returns & casts them all into the lake of fire. so the only thing they can do is to make sure they take as many humans into the fire with them as possible. they already lost, but taking humans into hell is one last stab at God that they get. it's DISGUSTING. people, PLEASE. I IMPLORE YOU! choose Jesus before it's too late! which it almost is! this is NO GAME! the book of revelations in the Bible tells of the signs to look for right before Jesus returns & if people actually paid attention, they'd see that these signs have been occurring for a good while now. yet they say "where is the proof, where is your God?" HE'S BEEN HERE ALL ALONG! WAKE UP! THE DEVIL IS DECEIVING THE MASSES THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA, TECHNOLOGY (AI IS *DEMONIC*), SONGS, MOVIES, CELEBS, SPORTS, ETC. IT'S ALL FOR THE DEVIL! EVERY SINGLE SUCCESSFUL MAINSTREAM POLITICIAN, ACTOR, SINGER, PROFESSIONAL SPORTS PLAYER (WHICH IS A DAMN JOKE CONSIDERING SPORTS ARE ALL RIGGED & SCRIPTED.... LOOK UP THE VID OF THE NFL PLAYERS TALKING ABOUT NOT LIKING THIS YEAR'S SCRIPT)....THEY *ALL* SOLD THEIR ALLEGIANCE (NOT SOUL, ALTHO SATAN TRICKS THEM INTO THINKING THEY SOLD THEIR SOULS SO THEY THINK THEY CAN NEVER GET IT BACK, BUT IF THEY'D JUST REPENT & COME TO JESUS, THEY'D BE SAVED & REDEEMED....CAN'T SELL WHAT RIGHTFULLY BELONGS TO GOD) TO THE DEVIL FOR FAME & FORTUNE. YES, I'M YELLING CUZ THIS IS RIDICULOUSLY IMPORTANT. NOBODY IS LISTENING & IT'S BEYOND FRUSTRATING FOR THOSE OF US WHO ARE ACTUALLY AWAKE. PEOPLE SAY THEY'RE WOKE, BUT IT'S IRONIC CUZ THOSE TURDS COULDN'T POSSIBLY BE ANY MORE ASLEEP!!!! sorry for the yelling. I actually typed this out to someone else & just pasted it so I didn't have to type it all again. but it's all the same. I truly hope you find happiness & peace in Jesus.

Dam! I have heard countless stories of issues with subs . People that were dosed with subs to soon after there last opioid use or not a high enough dose of subs or both. I have heard other people say subs did not work for them and they went with methodone with high success rate. Others said they went cold turkey, god rest there soul , complete misery! I am a chronic pain patient and have been on prescribed opioids for over 10 years. Everything from tramadol, hydrocodone, morphine sulfate tablets, oxycodone .Never did I think I would ever need opioids to relieve my pain but everything was tried and nothing else works so some of us use it for true chronic pain conditions where we are being monitored every mouth and drug screened and ect. I actually have not had a dose increase in 8 years. I still however know what withdrawal symptoms feel like when pharmacy runs out of my medication. It’s complete hell on earth. Dependence on opioids is the same if ur a addict or chronic pain patient that can’t access there prescribed mds. Thanks for great videos

YOU'RE WRONG. DEPENDENCE IS NOT ADDICTION. AND YOU'RE ALSO WRONG ABOUT REGULAR WITHDRAWAL ISN'T THE SAME THING AS PRECIPATED WITHDRAWAL. A DIABETIC IS DEPENDENT UPON INSULIN, DOESN'T MEAN TEY ARE ADDICTED TO INSULIN. REGULAR OPIOID WITHDRAWAL IS A WALK IN THE PARK COMPARED TO PRECIPATED WITHDRAWAL.

Yeaa methadone has a long halflife average of about 22 hours so you need to wait awhile to take the subs. Hopefully your feeling good now.
