How I Got a Full Scholarship for the USA | Research Assistantship | Search For Professor
One of the main things to do to get offered a research assistantship before landing in the USA is to contact professors way ahead of applying to the university. I have divided this process into two videos; the first task is to search for professors who share similar research interests or can be the new research interests you want to start in the future.
While I was in this phase, I prepared an excel sheet to record my process.

Few things about me:
* What am I studying?
--- I'm doing a Master's in Plant, Environmental, and Soil Sciences specializing in precision agriculture.
* Did I get a scholarship?
--- Yes, I got a research assistantship which basically means that I will be working as a research assistant, I get a monthly stipend as a living expense and my tuition fee is waived.
*How did I get the assistantship?
--- I have made a full video on the process in detail. I really hope that would help other students aspiring to study abroad.

how much was your score in GRE? and was wondering if online gregmats services alone are enough and comprehensive for the good GRE scores? or offline classes are more effective !??

It was 302. It is way more effective than other classes and also cheaper, if you have motivation to read by yourself. I took jamboree classes on zoom and I think I should have joined gregmat earlier. I took zoom ones, so I can say they are not good enough. Maybe the offline classes are better as you can discuss problems in person. Best wishes.

Is it necessarry to submit our research paper on the application while applying for assistantship? If we have no experience of doing research how likely are we to get accepted for assistantship

Research paper is not mandatory. It will help if you have research experience prior to joining any research.

Hi, I applied for assistantship at rice University and I got selected by one of the professor and I will be getting Fee waiver and stipend. Do I need to take loan or arrange some finance to show to visa officer? Also if I got an assistantship does it stay throughout the graduate studies? Please let me know

If you got assistantship, you don’t need to show any financial reports. Everything is covered. Make sure from your I20. Best wishes ❣️

Actually having published papers are count as bonus; it’s not mandatory for students coming for masters. Therefore, if you have any published papers, it will be a benefit for you no matter research or review paper. Best wishes.

I had one but I wasn’t the first author. Though it doesn’t matter even if you don’t have any papers. Professors don’t expect too much from students who are applying for masters. However, in case of phd, yes having papers matter.

Waived cha bhaney tyo Uni haruma gre scores maagdaina.. testo casema gre bahek Aru aspects hercha.. gpa, experience, sop etc.

Hello bhawana ji! There are some bunch of queries that i have and its giving me a lot of uncertainties. A. What is the age limit to apply for studying there? B. Is it better to apply for PhD or a suitable MSc course for the person who have already done msc in env. Science. C. Is it possible to apply for any medical degree in master with env science bg. COVID ko bela thiyo so online jamboree class leko thiye and pachi chi aafai padheko. Due to Covid and all, it took me 6 months I think but I recommend taking 3-4 months at max.
