How I Got 90% More Battery Life for ONLY $10

Ойындар

Amidst all of the third party battery accessories you can buy for the Quest 3, I've decided to test a cheap $10 portable battery and see how it holds up. Would you be willing to spend $10 to get these results?

Nice video. I had a similar setup for months before upgrading to a battery head strap. A must-try solution if you want to extend your playtime on a tight budget.

I currently use a 20k mAh battery when I need. It charges the headset up WHILE playing. And has gotten me 12+ hours of gameplay.

Oh thank god you didn’t add the part where I struggled to speak 😅 Nice vid so far, it’s pretty neat to see how such a cheap thing boosts the battery this much. A thing I do though is I just get a Chromebook charger on a extension cord and plug it into my headset. I take a lot of the weight off by putting the heavy parts of the cord on my bed.

Ah I see, a fellow enthusiast. If you get a battery like this you can use velcro to strap it to the default strap or slide it BETWEEN them in the back. A recent trick I only saw recently. Join the Mischief Norsh!!

Nooooo! But check this out, I spent around 60$ for a Slim Anker 20,000 mAh battery over 3 years ago. And just use velcrow to hold it to the default strap. That’s 12+ hours of RecRoom 🐀❤️

@@mooreVR I gotta tell you, Apple wasn’t far off with the battery in pocket work around. The downsides was not using it as a counterbalance, but in that case it does still get heavy on the head (even on just the back side- a Moore unusual discomfort) They fell short with battery capacity in that regard, and a unnecessary locked system for charging. Maybe a boundary they set for the headsets because even with that tech, there are shortcomings we don’t know about. Where a bigger battery and run time, wouldn’t be good wear on the systems… 🤔

@@camillerobinson9195 ah no, it shouldn’t. The Velcro has no stick (that I use at least) I just make it tight. BUT! If you slide it in between the straps that overlap in the back, it almost makes like a nice pocket for the battery.
