How I Got 5A*s At A-Level

I got 5A*s at A-level and I'm going to tell you exactly how you can do the same. On results day I was lucky enough to bag A*s in biology, chemistry, maths, further maths and physics. I'll let you in on a secret: it's not because I'm a genius. I'm really not. It's because I used particular methods for learning, revising and performing that I've developed over years of sitting academic exams. In this video, I'm going to give you my top three tips for getting perfect grades in your exams- whichever they are.

5 A* in those subjects is absolutely ridiculous, I wish I had your brain. It's a thing to behold.

Even for mathematics at Cambridge you would not need 5A*. Medicine is AAA to A*AA usually. Only some where extreme like HK medicine university would you need 4A*. Sometimes exam goal shooting takes away the fun of learning and knowledge of learning. Most can be forgotten when we are forced to aim for grades

wow, those were amazing results!!! this september ill be taking almost the same a level as you but im doing computer science instead of biology, im not that worried about the grades i could get, i think i could do well if i study well enough, however my biggest concern is how much time do you have for extras like further reading and work experience when taking 5 a levels? did you have enough time to do some further things in order to get higher chances of getting accepted into uni?

hAHA your story is like mine, I got 99/100 in my DT coursework all in 2 weeks by only focussing on the specification. Also because my teachers did not teach in the way best for me and the grades at my school showed this. Unfortunately they where really stubborn and found my telling them that I want to use the computer to revise like some sort of way to mock them. I once got taken into isolation because I was not liking the way they teach, but in the isolation room they had computers and so i told the teachers to let me use them to revise, they literally would not let me use them even though they know that i will benefit from them. I only wanted to do medicine when i was 2 months from my exam, so i just decided to bunk school for 40 days by saying im sick and have corona, this helped my sooooo much. I feel like i can get 6-8 A* which is not that good for medicine but i did it in 2 months.

hAHA you are kool 🤣 . Are you a genius or can most people do this with training? Would you recommend only doing alevels to get into uni or are they not so bullshit that I can also do them for personal interest?

@@amzy64egIm sure most people can do this, I mean if your doing it for personal interest that Thier is probably better things to do than a levels but if you want to do a levels for a specific reason than its much better

I'm taking the exact same subjects that you took. I'm literally stuck between engineering and medicine, hence my subject choices. It's quite scary and frustrating not knowing what I want to do

A level are not a direct measure of your intelligence . Sure but one thing they certainly prove is extremely high ability to learn and understand hence they are used by unis to filter the most hardworking students with the highest abilities to understand and solve problems and absorb large amounts of info

You can but your options will be extremely limited. If you can, you'll be in a much stronger position if you do chemistry A-level.
