    We also find it tricky working with brands, because one story can get so much traffic to your website or IG page and make you a lot of money when I spent more than what your product costs to just film the reel or the story. Our work is not as easy as it looks like, most influencer won’t work with brands simply because the offers are not fair to them.

    Imagine you make $900 revenue and you spent $300 on Facebook ads and $300 on stock, making $300 profit. Now instead of Facebook ads, you send $300 of products to different influencers. You've still only spent $300 on advertising. You just have to order more stock which is easy.

  • @talmageandchenoa

    @talmageandchenoa

    Start by drop-shipping. This way the supplier ships all the stock for you and you just receive the money from the customers to pay for the items and you keep the profit. I spent $30 to test my product, made videos and photos for advertisements on my GoPro. Then advertised on Facebook for $100 for 24hr. In that 24hr I made $750 in sales on my Shopify store and the supplier did all the work for me. Once you make $10k in sales start branding your product and keeping it in stock. Using influencers would be so much cheaper. You build an audience whilst making sales at the same time. Though I am chasing them up to make their posts with our product sadly. Facebook advertising is extremely expensive but effective if you know how to do it correctly.

    Hey Yasir, That’s where influencer marketing is going at the moment! Huge brands like Walmart and Amazon are collaborating more with influencers now and are offering insane budgets, therefore influencers are demanding more. The advice I would give you is to ensure you are contacting the right influencers in terms of relationship and relevancy. Most have a good relationship with their followers and most be relevant to your brand and products. Find these influencers and play the relationship game, Working with One good influencer who loves your product, 10 times is better than working with 10 different influencers who are average. I hope I helped you there.

    @@shopify7pm from 10k-100k. All of them ask for ridiculous amounts. Especially 50k+ influncers they ask for from 2000-7000$ which is ridiculous. I use a very basic ROI Calculation: To find out how many people will buy I use the below formula: Total followers * US audience % * Engagment rate * Conversion rate % Then multiply the Assumed converted buyers with my profit margin per unit This will give me my breakeven amount or the maximum amount I feel is justified to offer to the influencers otherwise iam just making a big loss in terms of sales. I know brand building is a big objective of influencer marketing but right now I am just talking from sales point of view. Now lets put hypothetical numbers in the above calculation. Total followers (75k) * US audience (35%) * Engagment rate (2.5%) * Conversion rate (5%) So its 75000 X 0.35 X 0.025 X 0.05 = 32 buyers who will supposedly buy from me. If my product is under 20$ with 5$ profit margin then 5$X32 buyers = 160$ Now this seems to be a reasonable maximum amount I should be paying to the influncer if I want to just even breakeven. However unfortunately influencers with 75k followers don't quote anything below 2k-7k depending upon what assets you request from them. Having said it, now all these videos of influencer marketing don't seem to work out for a new small brand. May be for big brands the conversions % would be higher However from New brands how can we be profitable and scale up. All the videos from these IM experts sound correct However in practical it doesn't work for small brand new brands. I would request Gretta Van to please share her expert thoughts and guidance about the ROI working for smaller brands like mine. Iam sure it will help a majority of your audience also. Thank you. So for example if some influncer

    @@yasirkamal923 Many thanks for your detailed response. I now have a picture of the challenge you are facing. To be honest I echo what @jay has said earlier. I would focus less on the bigger followings and more on quality influencer accounts. From my Personal experience I believe that mircoinfluencers, those with followings of 5-10k have more intimate and engaged audiences. Their audiences are more likely to follow recommendations especially if the ads are native format and appear natural. If your chasing those influencers near the 100k mark they would already have experience working with other brands therefore they will command more money upfront.

    There is a proven formula that we use to find influencers! It's by going over hashtags that include location and niche. For example you are a fitness business that sells active wear and want to target audience from California, then you can try to search #californiafitness. Make sure that the traffic is not over 100k or less than 5k posts. Then go over each post, check profiles, and see if their contacts are all provided in their bio. If not, you can opt for a people search tool to find the missing contact details such as name, phone number, email, or mailing address. Hope this helps!

    When just starting out, even if you are able to get great influencers to promote your brand, what chances do you have to get conversions if you have very few followers on Instagram and haven't yet got much of a following on this platform? I suppose what I'm asking is how important is a reasonable following on Instagram to conversions when starting out?

  • @Ken_Brz

    @Ken_Brz

    2 жыл бұрын

    Not that important as how your feed and how the account presents itself (image, emojis, bio, etc) But I would gain 100-200 followers first before reaching out to influencers. A great strategy is tag on every post 5 people to get their attention. Also engage with their accounts like Greta said in the vid. The issue I have though with all of this, be it an ad strategy, email strategy, whatever is that it‘s very time consuming for one person and very complicated to wrap your head around, while also actually imprinting the strategy. This will take a while and you have to ask yourself if you‘re up to it. Think about it before you answer in your current euphoria of finding your new idea/product. That‘s why I advise finding free interns first, have a solid 3 month plans to save your time and actually feel more motivated with more People than just working on this yourself. You‘ll also be surprised how many people would work for free just to gain experience. launches take Time, especially if you do it on your own. You‘ll feel doubt, make mistakes, etc. that‘s what you have to work on and through the most. Your mind. That‘s why get interns to multiply your time and save you stress and do less work you hate. This is supposed to be a business not another job. Good luck!

    The most important thing to look at when choosing what influencer to work with is their “engagement” NOT their follow count. Look at the number of “comments” and “Likes” the influencer has on their posts. A person may have 100k followers but none of that matters if very few of their followers actually engages with them.
