ok, you made it. favorite new film channel.
Your desktop background had me in stitches lol.
Bro the keywords at 2:40 had me dying 😂😂
Your humor is subtle, dry, and sarcastic. Love it.
I just discovered your channel yesterday, and have been bingeing all the videos since. This one makes me want to start scanning all the negatives - super helpful!
It's really the little details that make me come back to these videos.
God damn these videos are so refreshing for the film community. I’m sitting here laughing my ass off and appreciating great photog work! Win win
Great stuff as always. Eventually your channel will just be a non stop loop on my TV. Just as soon as there's enough content that I can forget what I've already seen. Keep it up.
what the hell is george doing in your background?

great choice of music too, love this!
I'm so glad this was a recommended channel.
I think I learned something - thx. I am involved in a huge personal project digitalising all my negatives, but also slides over the last 50 years! I am using Epson V850 Pro plus the delivered Silverfast software, and after a huge learning curve I am finally getting pretty ok results.
Film looks so beautiful!
Truly amazing stuff
HAHAHA Muncey background surprise! that is a great background, and a great photo of him.
I found this video both informative and hilarious - love your style!
You are very funny and easy to watch. Love your photos
The BEST Film channel... period!!!
hahaha I effin love your channel, this episode especially!
Comedy and insight.. excellent!
your videos have singlehandedly convinced me to shoot with film 😭 thank you
Bro 😂. George as the background was the best thing I’ve seen.
This was hilarious, really great job. Refreshing, shout out from Johannesburg, South Africa!
just what I needed! A laugh, yeah I needed that more than just tips..
The background is negative feedback HAHAHa. Awesome video as always
Loved that video! Keep it up
How do people hate your vids? You actually improve the quality of my day every time I watch your vids😂
thank you. thank you for everything.
instant like for the background
Thank you for this informative video mate.
2 random youtube suggestions later and i’m subscribed .. love the work
Love your humour. Sick vid!
Thumbs up as soon as you posted the comment from the “non-viewer”. Suspect he always watches. And definitely learned something. I think I’ll start scanning my negatives instead of paying for the lab to scan.
My holy mfing bhole. I really appreciate and love your humor and just delivery of these sometimes boring information 🫶🏻
I've learned how to buy Negative Lab Pro. Thank you!
Yeah, just came down here to congratulate you on that background. It's lit, fam.
Not a professional photographer, but a UX designer, and watching someone else go through their creative process is just so appealing and gets me #turnt ! Love your videos and humour
I died when i saw George from Negative Feedback as your background!! hhhahahaha
I 'effing love this guy
Hahaha dude this stuff is gold, Jerry... Gold!

That desktop wallpaper got me deeeeeeeead, hopefully George seen this 😂
"So in Shrek we are just supposed to ignore the fact that donkey f**ks a dragon?" Thank you Jason, very cool.
Nice videos man!
Yo what up, excellent video bro!
I ain’t gonna use any of these tips. But god you made me laugh 🙌🏽😆👏🏽
I scan my negatives with SilverFast 8 on an Epson V800...extremely pleased with the results.
best youtuber!!!
Well, after seeing your process and almost all your videos you made me take the next step and go ahead.... to keep my MiniDVD Sony Handicam from 2005 handed from my parents.
Oh gash. I somehow like your channel. And shooting film for 20 years I can so relate... but WTF with the smooth jazz xD
Don’t change a thing man. Hilarious and informative. Best channel on. KZread. 😎
Bro you are blowing up!!! Congrats!!! In before 10k! Hahaha
Fire Content!
Digtal camera scanning and Negative Lab Pro are like mind blowing to me. The end result looks so much better than basic lab scans. And who pays for the good scan on a whole roll? It's new to me and still very amazing. I can't believe how good my results are.
Thank you, I didn't learn anything. Subbed.
The desktop killed me 😂😂😂
Hilarious but also informative. 👌

Just curious, since most of your photos look pretty flat in the mids and highlights are pretty high up, do you use exposure compensation and how much? Loving the result right out of the camera (instead of pulling highlights and bumping shadows). Thanks!
I've been scanning and doing it all wrong, good looks with Negative Lab Pro! Looking forward to testing it out and seeing the difference it makes

Welllllll, as far as I know there is no right way to do it haha, at least not one that's practical. Every version of a negative you see is just an interpretation soooooooo...yea. I say give the trial a run and see if it's your cup of tea. They just released V2 of Negative Lab Pro so it might look a little different too so heads up
@savtejdhillon

grainydays well i bought the V2 immediately after watching this video and only got to scan 2 shots before my Epson V600 just randomly started giving me a green line across my scans now, i think i need a beer and i’ll think about how to fix it tomorrow 😂

Currently sick in bed and happened to stumble across your channel on a trip down the film photography rabbit hole. I must say, thoroughly enjoy your videos. Right on for not taking yourself seriously like every other 'How to Film' wannabe. P.S. Still having trouble on how to white balance in Microsoft Paint, any tips?
nice guy and video. thx
I did learn something but my problem is I'll probably forget it and that's why I just come back to the video and learn it again..lol cool video buddy, never shot film I've always had a dslr but now all I have is a mamiya c220 I got through a trade and the only use it gets is collecting dust :)
The irony is that he couldn't take 2 seconds but took an order of magnitude more time out of his life to drop a comment! Logic! Great channel and humor. Just what is needed in film photography not just emulating the holy trinity of film channels

This is the first video I saw from you and I absolutely love it. Can’t wait to see more
I actually rock with the dust
Thank you
Hey man, You never had problems with the compressed air on the negative, being that it's a high pressure gas applies to them? No damage? Trying to decide between pump and this one. Cheers
Do you have a video showing side by side scan? Regular epson vs what you just showed in this video?
why do you paint out the dust instead of using digital ICE? it works great. i have a v550 as well.

Hey, I like your photos… it has pastel look… i just bought film camera because of your channel… actually I’m buying this because i dont like editing my digital image, i can spend hours in front of the laptop by editing my photos… well, your editing style is minimalist and give superb image… Is there anyway to get pastel look photos, directly from film? I’ve tried portra 400, but i didn’t over exposure it… it’s good, but not as pastel look as yours… could you give tips which film and how to treat it to get pastel look? Thanks
This video is low key funny af
so i have a question. why do you do some of your edits in negative lab vs just doing them all through lightroom? like your tone profiles and such.
hahaah loe your negativefeedback bg
Hi, thanks for the videos but no-one is talking about the monitor and the correct color profile before using Lightroom etc. Can you give some information about the right monitor and color profile etc. :)
5:05 makes a dad joke about the grain of the negative - (*nostril expands*)
How can I manage to See the full scan-Area in the preview after scanning? I searched for some setting in Epson scan but cant find it. Im using an Epson perfection 4490 photo - maybe the Scanner is too old?
Curious if NLP only works on a computer (desktop/laptop). Does it also work on iPad?
Amazing dude! Just a question: you simply remove your roll-film from your camera and scan it? Without going to a photo shop?
@grainydaysss
4 жыл бұрын
Nope! You gotta rewind it in camera first then get it developed by a lab or you can do it at home. Then scan!
Your gold ma dude. HAHAHA
Which film did you use for the photos you processed?
What do you think about Vuescan or SilverFast?
1:27 I actually laughed out loud
Film photography video with memes and shit. Exactly what i wanted.
Ik it's a stupid question but before you scan and edit your photo you have to give your film to develop it in some photography place right?
this vs. plustek how do you like do scan your 35mm?
Hey dude, thanks for sharing your routine. I wanted to know, is it possible to use the digital ice / dust removal from the epson scan app with negative lab pro ? I have the impression that to have the best colours result in Negative lab, you need to disable it all in the Epson app. Love your channel man, great humour. Cheers !

I haven't yet found a way to use digital ice on your raw scans without the program wanting to add contrast to your image. If you figure it out let me know! Cheers

I think it is very late to reply this comment. But the best way to use digital ice with negative lab pro is using Silverfast to scan as positive film and inside silverfast, turn on iSRD.
