How I Earned 1,200,000+ Amex Membership Reward Points!
In 2022 I was able to earn more than 100,000 Amex Membership Reward Points each month for a total of over 1,200,000 total points earned! I was able to do this by utilizing a few methods I have discussed in previous videos.

Sorry about my voice I have a sinus infection thing going on and I sound more nasaly than normal 😂 thanks for watching!
1M + Points is no joke, and yeah while a lot of us always talk about trying to get the highest possible redemption value and redeeming points via travel partners, it is totally up to each person to redeem points based on what best fits to their overall goals & needs. Wow that is a huge amount of points to be able to earn from Rakuten. Great video Mark!
Smart moves and that's a helluva lot of MR pts!!! Thanks for the info + video.

Thanks Jimmy!
Redeeming 5-figures of MR points was a solid move. Very cool to see this type of redemption! May not be for everyone, but that's awesome that you could invest all that cash back to save up for your future. Great work Mark!

Definitely not flashy or as exciting as big high redemption value trips but I'll do all that stuff when I'm a millionaire... until then boring it is!
Those Rakuten referrals are no joke! Also, I think it's really cool that you cash out a good amount of your Amex points since you're in a season of life where you're looking to increase your net worth. Credit card points should be flexible depending on your goals! Thanks for sharing Mark.
Smart! I love watching your videos. Very inform and helpful. I’m planning to do the same thing once I get my Charles Schwab next year. In the meantime I’m just accumulating those MR points through my Amex personal and business Gold. Also thinking of getting the blue business next year for that base 2X

Awesome I love to hear my videos are helpful! Good move! It’s worked out great for me
I've redeemed about 500k points this year for travel. Been stacking points back up to about 1,000,000 now. Planning on redeeming for a trip this spring.
That's a pretty amazing job you did this year. I checked out your blog, and was wondering how does the creditcards affiliate link differ from refer a friend links. Thanks

Thanks! I am an affiliate with Red Ventures Media Network who owns creditcards. Every big blog or youtuber who makes credit card content is as well (ask sebby, ben hedges, nerd wallet, everyone you've heard of). With their links there are no earning caps and payouts for sales change from time to time. The biggest and best difference is no earning limits. Personal referral links have caps, RV links do not

My thoughts exactly! As long as the market is down I think I will keep doing this. I know it is worth it in the long run!
Brilliant move in my opinion. Rather than risking devaluation of the points, those points are going to become more valuable in investments! I’m strongly considering getting the Charles Schwab Platinum too

You should! If you’re in the market for the platinum it’s the best version imo
Best redemption that I’ve heard so far. I’ve been dollar cost averaging into the market myself all year and will continue to do so. Your ROIC will be awesome.

Thank you! It’s definitely not flashy but I agree I think it will be worth it eventually!
If you don’t mind me asking, how much did you spend on Raketun? Do you only buys online things through Rakuten when you make 10 points at least?

How much of the 1.2MM points comes from referrals?
I've been prioritizing cash back because for me MR have been hard to get good redemptions. Either no award flights available or their bad flights. But in 2023 I'm focusing on earning MR points as I plan to go to Italy in 2024
Here in UK we only have the PayPal option. However it’s linked to my Amex so should still work right?
Hello, wait wait wait, you can add your Amex to Rakuten and whatever % a store offers, you can get points for them instead cash back? I have a Amex green wow
Wow. Respect
I’m definitely team cash back. I just wish Amex allowed cash back redemptions at 1+cpp, without having to get a $695 credit card to do it. That’s kind of why I lean toward Chase.

They're betting on their dominance in travel benefits to be the trade off not to be obligated to have good cash redemption. Seems like a great business model. For those who maximize it they're loyal customers spending a lot on the cards. For those who get hooked on the marketing but don't maximize the benefits just net more money for AMEX. They understand all this
Did you use a EIN number when you applied for your blue business plus card under a sole proprietorship?
@creditmark

The sole prop card I used my SSN but the new BBP I got yesterday was through my LLC so I did use my EIN for that one
does amex business plat card work for this? it looks like some cards are exempted from earning points via Rakuten

This the best method to go right now! Good job for cashing them into investing!

All those referrals work if you have a big platform like yours. I dont see how an average joe can get that much
@creditmark
Жыл бұрын
I for sure agree with that
Agreed. Dont get trap with chasing highest cpp value. Turning the points to cash is better. Because extra cash is always win over time. Using points for travel fetch high cpp because the price are inflated and its “fake”
whats is your CS Platinum referral link?
