You make photo-realists like Jono Dry look impatient! Holy shit. I’m a painter, no wayyy I could even begin to attempt something like this. How large is your reference for work this detailed?

I’ve learned that INTJs seem to have a capacity to tune out of physical sensations (e.g., not feeling tired until they fall asleep driving and then back track like oops I was tired, or not feel hunger, thirst, or physical injuries until it’s way beyond a problem). I’m wondering if that’s true for you and maybe works to your advantage in terms of sustaining that level of precision over such long sessions. Not tuning into the physical discomfort of it. Not sure I’m articulating that well, but hopefully that makes some sense. It seems like maybe your brain build is conducive to the entirety of this process in ways others aren’t and does that catch up with you physically after a significant lag. This seems like an extreme body task, too.

Haha I’m not sure if I’d call it extreme task. Though, my focus is pretty intense during it. I used to jokingly say my super power is my focus. But I’m certain that’s what Ni is doing.

@@MarssMedia mhmm, perhaps focus to the exclusion of anything else. My focus is pretty legit, too, but I’m gonna wear out on a physical sensation before mental exhaustion. Like “I can’t stand the sensation of sitting in this chair anymore,” because that never leaves awareness.
