When I was 15 I was diagnosed with stage 4 hodgekins lymphoma. By the grace of God I'll be 50 next year.

I hate when doctors automatically disregard your symptoms signs and worries just cause youre young, assuming youre perfectly healthy just cause youre young. Nothing should ever be ruled out ever, every day counts in these situations. But im glad youre doing better now! Hope you continue having a long and prosperous life and stay strong

My friend was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer at age 48. 5 years later & she's still cancer free.

I'm horrified by this story. I apologize on behalf of the medical field. No one should ever have said a diagnosis without confirmation. After the first round of antibiotics, we should look at the more unlikely differentials [3rd year med student]. I will learn from your story and try my best to do better. <3

"...couldn't afford biopsi" This scares the bejeezuz out of me. You guys really should try universal health care. Just saying.

No one showing such symptoms should have to pay for a biopsy :(

My brother's started with a lump under his left arm. Quickly followed by abdominal pain and nausea. Losing 60 pounds within 2 and a half months. He was diagnosed on his 19th birthday. He was given a 5% chance of survival. He turned 61 this summer.

As a Canadian, when I hear someone say, "I don't have doctor money", my heart breaks. We just seriously go to a doctor whenever we damn well need to. I'm glad you were able to be diagnosed and I'm sorry that anyone has to decide to get medical care or not based on money. Be well!

Hi. Thank you for your video. I had a cough for 3 months, fatigue, anemia, night sweats, fever, loss of appetite & weight. I worked with my physician, a pulmonologist (he checked my lungs, gave me an inhaler, he checked for all types of allergies & did 3 asthma tests) & a gastroenterologist (I had a colonoscopy & endoscopy & they concluded I had gastritis. I actually did). They kept ordering blood work & tests & I really am grateful for investigative efforts. I just wasnt getting better.

For you to share your cancer journey with us is so courageous. I really thank you 🙏🏾! It’s giving fighters such as myself the strength to do the very same thing and know that it’s okay to share and not be afraid of anything. Your strength and determination is something I find endearing and comforting. You will continually be in my prayers!!!!!!
