Happy Hydroponicing!

Your paid subscribers must be loving this last couple weeks! Hanging out for the next video, poor student life doesn’t afford me patreon subscriptions😅
Doctor Hoocho, watching you share your knowledge has been my happy place for a while. I don't 3d print, but still enjoyed the video. Then again, I hadn't done any hydroponics until 3 weeks ago and I have been watching your videos for months. Guess I might have to talk the wife into a 3d printer.
Thanks a lot mate... as a 3D printing, Fusion 360 and hydroponic enthusiast all of the little tips (including the 3D mouse, wow, didn't even think of that) are incredibly helpful. Rather than measuring wall thickness, I have found the "offset" in sketch mode to be useful, so you can just specify your wall of 1.6mm, and it saves you from drawing the inner circles and doing the math in your head. I will probably watch this video 10-15x trying to absorb all of the subtle tricks you make look so easy ;)
Nice to see you so happy hoocho, really enjoyed the video. You've inspired me to use my 3d printer more in my growing endeavor. Thank you.
Thank you for showing the design process! Great insight and display of drawing up a concept and bringing it into reality with 3D printing.
Can somebody explain me, why is in every bato bucket U shaped pipe for drain? L shape seems to me, good enough, isn't it? I just don't get the purpose.
Really liked this video! Do you have a video of your whole set up? I’ve wanted to play with 3D printing but have no real experience with it so watching you do it gives confidence
Great video. Learned an few things. Love that 3d mouse. I need to get myself one.
Nice 1 Mr Hoocho. Excellent guide to the design process. Might invest in the 3D mouse as I do a lot of zooming out and rotating the view in fusion 360. Interesting to see a different way on how to skin a cat.
I've been welcomed back to Hoochos
Hi Hoocho. Thank you for your amazing videos! When I talk with me family about using 3d printed parts for my hydroponic setup, I often encounter a lot of pushback from them because they are concerned about microplastic and 3d filament not being food safe. Do you have any data, opinion, or advice on this topic? Thank you!
I've used a 3D mouse before, but I have to take my hand off my keyboard, and I find shortcut keys infinitely more useful than easier rotation.
BRO! How are you not on PEI boards!? They changed my printing life.
The face palm to try and remember a dimension without remeasuring is pretty much half my day working in Fusion360.

@@Hoocho we always do 😂
thx, can you show us how to preper yaraMila mix for hydrophonic system?
which 3D printer do you use or do you use several different 3D printers? Now I've seen many of your videos, I think some of the subjects you make are bigger than what an Ender 3 can handle 😁
Big fan and patreon member Hoocho - I would say that for someone with no 3d experience jumping straight into fusion may be a tall ask . Starting with tinkercad or one of the more simple and free cad programs make it a bit easier. I use shapr3d on an iPad. Keep up the great work ! ☘️

Tinkercad is AMAZING for editing existing STL file. Even in Fusion it's a nightmare.

Shapr3d has been a game changer for me. I used it on PC for a year before buying an ipad pro for the sole purpose of using it. It strikes the perfect balance of power, usability and simplicity for me. @@superkillr
Is this print available? Available soon?
Same way only buy PETG
alright mate, random one, but you ever thought about a totally plastic-free set up? cheers

Yes, we will consider glass and metal melting blowing molding cutting and welding, once our seeds and our soil and our other media stops arriving in ....plastic bags. Until then feel free to grow in glass jars. Sincerely, The world.
Fusion 360 refuses me a hobby license. We need, and there will be another software to replace them.

Be careful, fusion 360 team is probably coming to get you if you havent purchased fusion but are creating things to sell or be sold by others. Ask me how i know .... Autodesk doesnt mess aroud

How did they find out?

@@superkillr all designs are stored on their cloud servers so once they get wind of sales for a design, i guess it's pretty trival for them to go in and find the design/ check if author is licensed properly.

Yeah I’m a subscriber, but if you’re just messing round with the program it’s not a problem.

For any hobbyist who wants viable CAD without the hassle of Cloud and moving goalposts, Freecad is a good option these days. Version 22 has just been released to users. You can use it for free or donate in proportion to your usage, your choice. There are now good KZread tutorials available.
