I did this with shorts. One of my shorts got a 1 out of 10. It was about the rarest lego piece. Since it did so well, I made another short with similar title about the rarest mini figure. That video flopped and is my lowest performing, even though I though it was my most engaging and best editing I had done. I'm starting to think shorts are luck based. If they aren't, what am I doing wrong?

It's just 2 images, one with 😮‍💨👎 the other is 😎👍. People can clearly see one is the bad option the other is the good and the title gives some info. This was just a happy accident, but I'll remember this for future content.

I launched a channel in Sept 23 and got 1,000 subs in about 4 months. After watching your channel and using your advice I launched my new channel and got 1,000 subs in 4 videos.

I think it's important to realise that you can't start at the top when creating a KZread channel. It's perfectly normal to make mistakes, get frustrated and have high and low views. Remember that the vast majority of large channels started many years ago, and as long as you learn, practice and get better, in time you'll get there!

Best piece of advice I’ve ever been given… “Are your videos good enough that you would even watch them yourself?” If your answer is NO, then you already know what the problem is. If you answered YES then you are on the right track to succeed. Good luck all ❤

I would love you to help me to find my "niche" for a piano channel, I would like to know what I should focus on: Movie Soundtracks? Game Soundtracks? Classical or neo-classical pieces? Or just play the pieces I like?

Oh, and just remembered: the utter irony of Rob doing a video about the frustrations of getting your first 1000 subscribers. The same Rob telling everyone that subscribers don't matter, and how he hasn't subscribed to anyone in years. The same Rob who had to search to find 5 channels that miraculously got their subs in 60 days. Whilst totally ignoring those of us repeatedly stating that KZread has been systematically removing ours for months, three at a time.

There is nothing contradictory. When we say subscribers don't matter, we mean don't race to gain subscribers. Focus on your channel content, on watch hours, on packaging, on your videos being pushed to people who are not on your subscribers list. When you focus on your content and your ideal viewers (as Rob explained in the video), your subscriber count will grow anyway. The point here is don't buy subscribers, don't use the promote tab to gain subscribers, don't do sub-baiting content, etc.

So what about those of us that did everything you suggested, have YOUR TOOLS to do everything you've suggested, but YT still refuses to surface our content in front of anyone even remotely close to our audience anymore, let alone stop removing our ORGANIC Subscribers, that we happen to have known for years, as they follow us else where? Also, again, you seem to forget that some of us are having all these issues as viewers too. I find it seriously weird to keep having to state that if I'm having these same issues as a viewer, why is it so difficult to understand that the issue I'm having as a content creator is happening to the person being hurled at me outside of their niche, or to their watch hours when YT unsubscribes me on its crazy rampage?

I think I’m on my way to 1000 subscribers but not sure. I started posting around a week and a half ago and already at 251 subscribers. I’ve gotten good feedback regarding the drawings I’ve shown. Only time will tell I guess. I will continue to take my time and post only when I feel a drawing, combined with the editing, music, location etc is good enough for people to see. Good luck everyone. I'm what you'd call a small-but-hopeful channel, who's gained almost 300 subs in the last year. I haven't even hit the crux of what my channel is going to be about yet (I'll eventually get there), but it turns out that people really like frogs and frog habitats. I made a series of videos on that and it's been _my_ niche for a while, even though most of the subs and viewers are Australians. I doubled-down on my first video and it paid off, and now people from other countries are watching as well. I doubt I'll hit 1k subs this year but I believe it's not far off. the channel is supposed to be about videography (scenes, techniques for capture, etc.) which I'm sure will pay off once it gets into gear.

Based on what I've learned so far I've come 2 realize that each person has Different requirements of what they r looking for in a KZread video...pretty much similar to how they deal with real life situations as well. So when I hear information like this..in this video it helps But..I personally believe people will eventually change what they look for over time bruh. I'm just gonna have 2 continue 2 absorb pretty much endless information..but that is only for me 2 get a better understanding of what's happening and why is it happening.

Is it okay to take a month break? I have a art channel and work 3rd shift 40 hours a week. It takes me atleast 3 hours to do one piece and that doesn’t count editing. So I was maybe gonna take a “break and make content for a straight month without posting so I don’t always feel behind or have to miss a day or 2 cause I don’t have anything to post. Thoughts?

It's just such a mistery to me why sometimes when I upload a short that immediately it gets at least 400 views after around 5 hours, then the next day when I upload a short again then it's not getting any views and as if it's not being pushed to shorts feed?

For every 10 subs I get to the end of the month, I will run an extra 1 mile. Today we are at 10 so let's go to at least 20. Stay strong brother.

From what I can see, the duration of your long form videos are too short. Create videos at 5 minutes average length. They will boost your watch hours. I made same mistake at the beginning of my content creation but changed things at the beginning of this year. Success.

I started making mine over 8 minutes. Apparently u can have mid roll ads on vids over 8 minutes. Also my watch time is longer

Sir i was averaging 100k per short but one day suddenly my reach weent from 2m to 400k and now within 400k reach i barely hit 1k views but back then i used to get 20k average at 400k reach ❤

It looks like the trend you hopped on has past my friend. lf you use OPC (Other people’s content) by that I mean upload footage from a movie etc it can only take you so far, then people start to crave originality. This is only my opinion and I could be wrong. Good luck and good health 👍

Please can you explain me why all my most popular shorts in my channel are stacked at 11k-10k views?

I started gaining momentum on my channel and it’s literally come to a complete stop in June, minimal growth and less views, it genuinely is super tough and is disheartening but I’m not ready to give up

@@WaywardZombie yeah I dont think AI content helps either, but I think I need to learn to deal with it because it’s not going anywhere. I’m hoping it’s just a bad month and I can turn it around it can just be so demoralising

Took me 5+ Years just to reach 1k 💀but then again I was deleting old videos and uploading new ones till I actually found what content I wanted. My tip is don’t give up and don’t delete uploads even if they’re cringe lol

I am not sure how to post KZread shorts on a computer. I tried but it didn't work. That video is on my videos tab and not in the shorts tab on my channel homepage. I really want to post shorts to get more views and subscribers. But I don't know how to do it on a computer??????

Do it from mobile. Desktop don't allow custom thumb. Shorts thumbs are critical for their success. Then use desktop to add in description etc...
