looks so professional!! I just tried your tutorial and am amazed that I did okay!! I saved $140! I learned to color my own hair as well. this covid thing has made me reassess everything now. Fuck 140??!! The have salons around me thatll do it for like 20 and do a color hair cut combo for 70ish depending on hair type

I’ve tried so many hair cutting videos. This has worked the best.

Im always amazed when people with straight hair blow dry there hair. Like doing that and it looking nice is impossible for me, turns into a big curly fluff ball

You should watch the korean way to blow dry your hair they have an amazing way to keep it flat

Use a diffuser the heat makes curls fluff up.

Thank you for posting this! Been growing my hair and wanting to get it trimmed but didn't want to have to pay for a few mm off. Tried it and its worked! Split ends are gone and it's not cost me anything. Going to look for some proper scissors now so I can keep on top of it! x

I’ve just tried this and my hair has turned out so nice! I was a little apprehensive about cutting the layers too short, so only trimmed them a little. Now o know this works, next time I’ll cut the layers a little shorter. Thank you ❤️

I have thick, wavy hair and used your technique today...it worked like a charm! Gonna go back and try adding some layers in a few days I think, but I'm really happy with the result. Just happened to stumble across this video and have to say thank you I love the technique you used for cutting,blow drying and styling. I ended up using it all and will def be using this technique for cutting and the styling portion together and separate from now on it made it so incredibly easy and I love how it turned out.

This is amazing and so simple. The trick is to go little by little. I dust my hair with this technique every 2 months or so. Keeps everything so healthy and beautiful.

That turned out really well. I have always cutting my hair by myself since they screwed it once at a hair dresser salon when I was 13. My way of cutting is pretty much similar to yours. The only difference is that I do not have these bangs and also when I am making the layers, I do not push up the hair that high. The rest is same. And I love your look, your color too, and thank you for this video! I think it is very helpful.

Love this! I've been looking for a new way to cut my hair that would give it a subtle swoop or straight in the back. Every other video i've seen has been for a dramatic V or is a very complicated process.

I've been cutting my own hair for two years now, and use pretty much the same technique haha. While watching your video I remembered the first time I did it... It was a disaster and took me SO much long to even the ends. Not anymore tho! Now I need no more than 15 minutes and I am done 😂 This video of yours also got me thinking when was the last time I cut my hair and the answer is, more than 7 months ago. I guess tomorrow I am gonna give myself a makeover ahaha

Really good job. Your a natural at these things. I’d like to try this myself (if my 6 month old little boy will allow me the time) I cant go wrong, nothing to loose, I’ve got too much hair, and I believe that really long hair looks ratty on me too but for some reason I keep it lol. I tend to have the scissors facing the ground open and sort of trim down giving a tapered look to them. Don’t know if that makes much sense x
