That Futaba radio is absolutely to die for. I run a modern Radiomaster TX16s radio, and I'm going to buy one of the Futabas and put the guts from my Radiomaster inside of it to make an updated dinosaur radio.

Very very nice build. Keep up the hobby. @23:20 you're using an RC switch to operate the smoke generator. TIP : I f you change this to a pcb out of a servo (or a brushed esc) you can change the amount of smoke coming out of the delorean. Kind regards. Henk Ketelaars (The Netherlands) 😃😃😃😃

That is some very impressive technical work..would never imagine it would be this simple to jury rig an RC motor into the eagle moss delorean chassis..but then when you have a skill and know how like this anything is possible and as easy as apple pie!

It's a subscription magazine you buy. They send you parts. And magazines. Monthly. They offer lots of kits. And it is the size of modern RC cars. So you can convert it. Cost like 3500 USD end of the day

Wow! Nicely done, I have been into surface and air RC for quite a while and have thought about converting a 1/18th DeLorean model I bought over 20 years ago, but never got around to it. Well sir, you went above and beyond on this build. The sound kit is a nice touch. I have a sound kit in my Traxxas Chevy K5 Blazer and it makes a world of difference having scale engine noises when driving a scale rig.

It's yours to do with as you please. I personally wouldn't have gone ahead with a conversion like this unless I had a spare DeLorean to keep as a shelf queen.

this is an incredible build. the only thing i would change is to somehow diffuse the smoke comming out of the back so it looks like the whole vent is filled instead of 2 pin point smoke jets. still a great job!!
