I’ve started following you since i just turned 23. And to anyone reading this comment. He’s right!! I’ve been grinding for about two months now. And if you put the work in now it pays off. I traded going out for going to the gym. I gave up the temporary fun for long nights in front of my laptop. I left fancy dinners for cheap dinners at home. It wont sound great but the benefits will come back for you.

Thanks for this. I'm a little over 40 and can promise there will be more than one period of down. Imagine life as peaks and valleys. Often the valleys get even harder as we age, because they are multi-layered. So important to prepare when young for good health, including mental health, so those valleys can be tackled when older. And NEVER claim victory over something like sobriety, etc. The universe could have a surprise in store if you claim victory. Peaks and valleys.

I hear you. So many times I claimed victory over a couple of addictions and I have fallen too many times to the same pits(valleys) but one thing I have started doing now is to have accountability partners for my addictions and goals… They help me stay focus but most importantly having a relationship with Jesus Christ has been the best decision I could have made to walk without condemnation even when I stumble or even fall because His grace is sufficient.

Today has shown me so many confirmation that I’m on the right track and it’s only the morning, I’ve been working on my business heavy for the past couple days and I see my friends on boats during the weekend and instead of having fomo I continue to stay focused. In this generation people always say “Spend the money, you’ll make it back” or “Treat yourself” when in reality no one can really afford anything they are doing, it’s a trap and that’s how most people stay broke. Thank you for being motivational, you never know who really need it.

Definitely a inspiration been following your instagram for a while. I’m 22 I dropped out of college with a year of school left to pursue my dream of becoming a fashion designer. I’ve been building my clothing brand Street War based on human history and culture for a couple years now. I realized early on that I don’t have the same goals as my friends who are now out of college working there corporate career jobs so of course my route to success would be different. My goal is to build my own company create generational wealth with my own two hands. I’ve worked a million different jobs from moving companies, to serving, to landscaping, detailing cars, gym monitors, to pick up trash, etc. At every job I’ve noticed that I hate working for people the idea of making other people rich while I do the hard work is sickening. Like you said it’s okay to take a step back from the parties to focus up on your purpose. This year I’m committed to working 6 to 7 days a week running beach chairs to fund my dreams. Crazy thing is with 8 months of consistency I will have the resources to blow my brand up. It’s been a hard fought battle and it’s not over yet but I know in the end it’ll all pay off.

I knew I needed change I was going to college but I hated it. So I decided to take a risk and drop out quit my job and start my own online brand! Stopped hanging out with friends that are no longer benefiting me, started prioritizing my time, stopped partying, started smoking a lil more weed lol! But now We good and we are gradually getting better. Love the journey! I live close to edgewater and I tend to walk around there to get motivated by the expensive apartment complexes and the view! Would love to meet someday!

I used to be a professional ball player here in Europe at the ripe age of 19 but I had double knee surgery and the level Im playing at just ain't the same. Am currently studying law courses and working a 9-5 wood chopping job. I am also desperate to be in another situation or like you said, "in a place where I am someone special again". I have been thinking that I need this to understand what it costs to get to the higher level in life but never knew if it actually is true or just me telling myself that it is. Yet here you are, proving to me that it is and it honestly took away a huge bunch of anxiety I've been having. Heavier than usual but keep up the good work my dawg. U inspire me!

Man that line hit me hard. “If you want long term success, be a loser for a little while.” I immediately had tears of pain but also of realization come out. Being 23 years old and going through a long bout of depression and bad habits I’ve been feeling like all I do is lose. My financials is all over the place, I’m behind in college, work, and I’m not mentally present in my personal life. I’m currently living my parents and I’m thankful that they’re understanding and allowing me to stay while I get on my feet. But I constantly feel ashamed for repeating my bad habits and remaining comfortable in justifying my bad habits. Your video hit me hard but I needed to hear this. I can’t be the change when I’m constantly choosing to remain the same. It’s hard to block out the noise (the partying and other instant gratification but if that what it takes then I’m willing to make the sacrifice and live the in the light that’s at the end of the tunnel. Thank you Carlos for sharing and inspiring us 🙌🏾💪🏾

I’m 22 I moved back in with my grandmother - embarrassing .. I feel so low now laying in bed sad watching this wanting to roll up .. I’ worked at a daycare but it was weighting on me I didn’t wanna bring my energy in there with those innocent kids now I’m at fed ex it’s cool.. I sometimes don’t even wanna talk be around anyone I don’t have friends I go to work go to school even though I’m doing poorly at the time the semester is ending soon .. it’s crazy I’m in college but still don’t know what I wanna go in for and I have side things I’ve thought about doing real estate for example .. it’s like I’m stuck trying to find the path 😩🥲 I let 5 years go past like nothing … I come home and lay around .. I fucked up 2 cars already and lived in 2 apartments and now I have nothing. I love videos like this it’s inspirational I just struggle with making the shit happen sometimes depression or whatever seems to get me down I talk to a therapist and that’s all ! I need structure peace and love I feel like I pushed everybody away and sometimes it’s even hard for me to talk to my therapist because I feel like she’s tired of hearing about my shit when she herself has a beautiful life to live who am i

I’m 21 and I have the same feeling you have. I have a job but I hate it because the pay is low. I’m in school right now but I don’t really see where it’s taking me. I’m failing most of my courses. I just feel like I’m wasting time. We have to remember that we’re young and our life just started. You got this.

Hey girll, I’m 21 too, going thru a hard time as well. I can really relate to your feelings as well. If you feel like talking to someone to vent or just to take your mind off, then I’d like to get in contact if you feel like. Maybe thru snap, insta or whatever. If not, keep your head up! You’re not alone in this and I faith in you and the rest of people who are going thru this as well 💖✨.

See this here is a good example of how the people (young people & kids especially) who get "lucky" I'll say, the ones who just have smoother lives than some of the rest of us, they end up in trouble when they encounter the harshness of the world, more-so than the kids who had it real rough. Glad you're doin well & have found yourself a path to develop that character & resilience my guy.

Proud of you bro and not surprised by your success. When you got called up to Varsity I could see you had a fire inside you and refusal to be average in not just football but anything you did. Not sure what led to your depression at UNT but job well done of being resilient to be the man The Most High created you to be 💪🏾✊🏾

I really appreciate you being transparent. I'm early on my journey of taking back the control of my life from alcohol. Your video's bring a sense of calm and a reminder that a peaceful, healthy lifestyle does not have to be difficult. Without knowing what's behind the vail and being in a state where I'm trying to get life back to normalcy, I wonder how the hell did I drift so far!!!!! Suddenly my perception is that I should use your videos as a standard. And that you managed not to loss your shit and this is how I should be operating. (note I see more qualify of life in a video like yours vs someone with some flash *hit. It is ever so much more impactful for you to share that you had to build yourself back up form a situation similar to my own. Cheer to you for overcoming and perhaps surpassing what you could imaging. I'm sure the rest of your viewers will appreciate learning more about you as much as I have. Blessings
