❤I’m a grandmother of twin boys and started writing children’s books while I was working as an administrative assistant at a high school about 3 years before they were born. Today, I’m 59 with 4 self-published books (and lots more to come), including other genres like poetry & cookbooks; this is my main stream of income. I’m also a greeting card/stationery designer, digital creator and soon will add sewing creator to my income list. You’re right, age has nothing to do with it, only desire and persistence. ❤

I began my investment journey at the age of 33, primarily through hard work and dedication. Now at the age of 38, I am thrilled to share that my passive income exceeded $100k in a single month for the first time. This success reinforces the importance of the advice mentioned earlier. It is not about achieving quick wealth, but rather ensuring long-term financial prosperity.

Investors should exercise caution with their exposure and exercise caution when considering new investments, particularly during periods of inflation. It is advisable to seek guidance from a professional or trusted advisor in order to navigate this recession and achieve potential high yields.

I've tried stocks and the company I worked with wouldn't meet with me unless I had a certain amount of money invested and I finally had to stop the automatic deposits when i was part of a RIF. Congratulations Lawrence. That must be a great feeling. I aspire to get there one day. I’m 29 years old and I made the decision to start using my money correctly to work for me that way in the future I can be financially stable and independent from needing to work for someone else. Right now I am making 30 K a year net income in my current job. But I am in the process of getting a skill to where I can make 70 K which I’m sure will be about 50 K net and then I want to start saving until I have a certain amount that way I can invest, and at the very least, I can be financially free from having to work for someone

Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly.

But then I realized that I was spending too much time and energy on researching, analyzing, and monitoring my finances. I was also overwhelmed by the amount of information and options available. I started growing plants, buying packets of seeds and growing them until they are big enough to sell. I have sold £3000 since July 2nd on eBay. EBay takes about 1/3, p&p is another 1/3, so I have cleared about a grand in 7 weeks. Next year I will start earlier in the year, concentrate on what was successful this year and extend the season as long as possible. Hope to make a 10k a year side hustle.

@@MT-yx5cu hi, not much to say except buy some seeds and grow them in pots or trays until they are big enough to sell. Package them well and sell them however you can. Car boot sales, garage sales, markets etc will reduce shipping costs, but they are time consuming for me, so I sell them on eBay and just take the hit on revenue. I have had to experiment a lot on seeds that I can grow easily, that slugs don’t eat, and that people want to buy. Foxgloves, mullein, lavender (slow to grow, but popular and I’ll keep some back to use for cuttings in future) etc. next year I will try doing organic vegetable plugs, like tomatoes, peppers, unusual varieties of things and then the following year pick the most successful things of the past 2 years and concentrate on them. This is my retirement fund, it’s something I hope I’ll be able to do well into old age.

Most people don't understand the power of compound interest or are just impatient. However, I think it's better for the average person to invest in the S&P 500 and wait, which is reliable, albeit extremely long: many years, or just hire an investment advisor and accelerate wealth accumulation. Most people underestimate the power of the latter.

My mother taught me to hate the word “work”, it took me about a decade to change that four letter word into a positive. This man has embraced that word and it’s meaning. I too had a fool time job while having many side hustles. Recently I learned to make great tamales from my neighbors and last year I made and sold over 1,600. Im retired now and I feel 18 and graduating from high school again. I’m asking myself what I want to be when I grow up? I can build, roof, lay flooring and of course make tamales. Go with B… when the economy is on fire class C renters move to your class B… when the economy is terrible class A renters move to class B. So when they say location location location … Just don’t buy class C or A…. And class A has the best location typically sooo ..

Imagine if you just did one thing. That you did it so well that you were able to make more per unit of time you invest, and then you build a team around that one thing. Then you scaled it. You’d probably make a lot more money. Multiple streams of revenue sounds nice, but it just spreads your efforts all over so you don’t make as significant progress as you would if you were 100% committed to one thing. I’ve been on both sides. The former has you over stressed and underpaid, while the latter takes more time, but you make way more and feel way better.

Thank you Eric! I was hoping you were going to list Digital Products as one of your streams of income. I'd been researching it now for a few days before coming across your post and it's giving me confirmation to continue to focus on it. Kudos on your hard work 👍

God bless bro, thank you for sharing. I self-published my first book on Amazon this summer. I did ebook first. Then I did the paperback after because people kept asking for it.
