I actually respect Spud a lot for this. I also watched him recently play wizard in goblin caves and express the frustration of where balance is at from each perspective. A lot of people assume they understand the game state from a single class perspective, but Spud ensures he has foundation under him when he speaks on balance and the current game state.

You do your due diligence. As someone who has watched your stream a lot, commented in your chat about these topics, I have seen you put your proverbial money where your mouth is and actually play the classes you comment on: You're the literal antithesis of the average redditor. Yeah, I think that the bow abilities need to be balanced per bow, but otherwise the issue is the overall power you can achieve from gear and TTK being too low. @@TheSpudHunter

We've noticed that stacking armor really wasn't healthy in terms of gameplay. So we've gone ahead and nerfed the Wizard. We believe this change will make fighters and other plate based classes feel completely unstoppable and will lead to fairer and balanced gameplay overall.

Yeahhh homies and I ran Fighter/Rogue/Ranger yesterday, and after killing a couple juiced teams... I'm sitting at around 75% dmg reduction + 25% projectile reduction. Safe to say the only way you will ever deal with a full dmg reduction Fighter is to have a Wizard. Warlocks can't even kill me w/ Curse spamming b/c my crossbow does about 75 dmg to clothies. I can basically only be killed by Fireball/Lightning spam. It's 100% broken.

How are you supposed to have a good kit if every lobby is filled with fully kitted players? Ive been playing every day since EA was released, ive had multiple good kits, but when you're running into fully kitted players while you have a few greens/blues. Unless they suck, you are screwed. This is crazy because the solution is so simple, in fact it's already a feature in the game. Or, the lobby before you load in at least. Imagine if you could see damage numbers against players! I already know if I'm fighting a dude in plate it's basically a 50/50, either he's just a little more tanky than someone in leather/cloth armor, or he is literally unkillable barring cleric/wizard spells. But if I am for instance a ranger and I hit a dude with an arrow and see he's taking 1 damage, you can bet your ass I'm not fighting that.
