That is quite true

You actually ARE immune to projectiles, but only the weak magic types. I found out about it during a Goblin Army invasion. It can be pretty handy, at least in cramped situations. Edit: and with the Dashing Ball, you have to hold both Up and Down to spindash. It's... weird, because even in the actual Sonic games it doesn't work like that. I still don't get it, honestly. Second Edit: Funny enough, i've actually learned that the Summoner class is the best to reclaim the Chaos Emeralds. The minions stick to the UFO like glue, and some occasional tag whipping means an easy victory.

The chaos ball present in the goblin invasion isn't actually a projectile internally, it's an NPC. That's why you can also destroy it with regular attacks or projectiles. There's a few other "projectile" NPCs in the game like this.

Omochao is a robotic chao that is prominent in Sonic Adventure 1 (And I believe 2?) They basically just appear to give you info on something, like telling you how to spindash in the first zone of Sonic Adventure. TL;DR Weird guide robot.

I don't recall ever seeing Omochao in SA1, but maybe he's present in chao races or something? Otherwise to my knowledge he first appeared in SA2 and was quite prominent in the stages there.

I don't know if you answer the question yourself later in the video, but omochao is a tutorial NPC formally introduced in sonic adventure 2, they give you more or less useful hints when walking past in that game, I can tell they can be talked to in the mod, but I don't know if you realise that later in the video (they have a speech bubble when hovering over them, like an npc) Edit: I had the video running in the background while typing this comment and missed the part where you realised this.

Yup, Omochao is primarily a tutorial NPC. They're a robot made to look like a Chao (that creature that follows Cream around), and are... unpopular with some fans. Their tutorials may be helpful for first-timers, but, especially in Sonic Heroes where each playthrough as Team Rose forces a run of the Tutorial Stage narrated by none other than Omochao, some found them grating at best. They did run a skill shop in Generations, too, so them doing that here makes sense. In a recent spin off game, it's revealed they're apparently wanted for Medical Malpractice. Also, in the Sonic games, when using Super Sonic against the final boss or extra boss, while Sonic won't take damage directly, he does still get knocked around and dazed because of just how hard he's getting hit, effectively making him lose Rings since he can't do anything while they drain. Maybe when you took damage against the Moon Lord it was based on that?

The chao following Cream around is named Cheese. Omochao is a friend of Sonic’s who is always following him around, giving him tutorials, and being the most ANNOYING little pest ever. You could’ve really used me by your side to explain things to you.

If you're interested in trying out other mods that are about turning the Terrarian into other game series' characters one I recommend is called "The Red Hero". It adds a lot of accessories, armor pieces, and weapons from the Megaman Zero series (a spinoff of the Megaman series focusing on the character Zero). It's incomplete atm with one armor set needed to get the final upgrade not being obtainable without cheats alongside a few other small things, but there's enough to beat Moonlord and it's very fun having a dash attack that makes your energy sword circle around you.

MMZ is goated, definitely gonna check this out. On a side note, as cool as the throwable Phase Saber looks, I kinda wish Relogic gave the Phase Saber a 3-hit combo like MMZ.

To answer your question about omochao. Omochao is a robot chao that was made to be a annoying guide. He follows sonic around and all he does is teach sonic how to do things he already knows.

In my experience, Skeletron and Skeletron Prime both seem to speed up right brfore their spin attacks, so no matter how fast you move, they can catch up to do the spin.

Omochao is the informal guide from sonic adventure 2 who does not shut up He is a robotic version of the species know as chao, one of this species, named cheese, follows around cream the rabbit

Circling around Skeletron is absolutely viable in vanilla and is in fact my go to strategy

Fun Fact: Omochao is meant to be a tutorial character, first introduced in Sonic Adventure 2. They tell you how to do certain actions by walking into them. They can be pretty annoying and can even get you killed at times under the wrong circumstances.

Alright so, the omochoa isn't the one that follows cream around its cheese who follows, omochoa is a robot choa who helps sonic by telling him the controls

First of all, thank you for bringing attention to Happiz they deserve it, and secondly, can you check out their Kirby mod? it has more content than this mod, it has bosses and weapons, and some are post moon lord! (They made some videos on the mod, If you want spoilers, watch those.)

The act of going super is not called chaos control, that's a seperate ability which can manipulate time, which in the sonic series has been used to stop/slow, time, teleport or to travel in time, it DOES require one or two emeralds to function however (also I don't remember if the time travel in sonic 06 was chaos control per se, but it's close enough)

Yeah, that was clear when you discovered that Super Sonic drains your rings. It's always worked like that. :) Of course, it's also always been that you can collect a few rings after being hit, so no reason to assume anything works the way it used to.

If I had to take a guess as to why you took damage from the man eaters, maybe it's because their teeth are spikey? In Sonic games, he takes damage from spikes when hit by them, so maybe spikey things make you take damage? I haven't finished the video yet, but I hope that's helpful.

I don't think that's it as it happened with other enemies without "spikes." One person mentioned that immunity frames may be the culprit and that sounded correct

Ok so, in sonic 1 there is a rom hack that a omochao follows you but never stops in. (Same as in Sonic Generations)

Possible redo ideas (You should also tweak the mod to fit these): -Rings are health. Your HP bar is invisible and is replaced with a ring counter. Getting hit with no rings kills you. -There should be an item that allows you to recollect some lost rings. -Spindashing is now done the classic way (Down and jump)! -Use Sonic's sprite sheet for a more authentic time playing. -Add the rule of no swimming. (Also, the drowning theme will play if you have 10 seconds left of air. Hitting 0 will insta-kill you.) -Add the monitors and their effects. (Can you find the elusive invincibility, 1UP, or S monitors?)

Aight, here's why you got damaged by Moon Lord even though you were in Super Form... There is i-frames exploit where you stack yourself with bunch of slimes in a boss fight to take damage from them and not from the boss. It was patched for Moon Lord and daytime EoL; now they use their own i-frames and completely disregard all others, and I assume Super Form just gives you permanent i-frames while it lasts so it doesn't work against them. Many other mods that grant some kind of an invincibility ability (Otaku Tech and its Raven Dash for example) suffer from this, too.

Small correction: The jousting Lance is, in fact, not pre-boss as you need to be in hardmode to buy it, just getting 30% bestiary completion is not enough. This also means your wish of having another jousting Lance between the regular and hallowed is moot, as the hallowed jousting Lance is Infact in the tier right after the regular Lance.

Maybe. The art style always put me off but enough people have suggested it and Re-Logic even did that collaboration with them that I'll have to give it a shot at some point

Think of Omachao as the Sonic version of Zelda and Link's Navi... Highly annoying once you know the game it came from well, but necessary to learn the game. And no real way to get rid of it once you know the game/s well. There is another KZreadr (Blue Television Games) that would have a field day with this mod. He specializes in Mario and Sonic games, and crossovers with both the characters and the games. Like Sonic in Mario 64, or Mario in Megaman 5... that sort of thing. One of the running jokes in his channel is the "oh so 'helpful' omachao" ever since he played a hack of sonic where LITERALLY EVERYTHING causes Omachao to throw up a tutorial bubble (you got a ring. you killed a baddy. you lost your rings. you beat the level) and a specific music tune that is hard to hum, but VERY noticable when it starts stacking with each notice you get from the thing. Oh yeah, every time you trigger it, it does the whole list from the top of the current level. The idea in the mod was to do as little as possible in the game, while still beating the game, before the tutorial chain made the rest of the level time out, or otherwise unplayable. PS: Nettleburst... Now you have. I actually farm Plantera a lot to get one. Because I like my second weapon in my tool bar to be one that can attack through blocks. Vile Thorn, Crystal Vile Shard, and Nettleburst all do that. Problem is... the next Solar Eclipse after getting the Nettleburst is also frequently the first one you have access to Death Sickle in, and that one usually overrides Nettleburst for me, unless you're doing a pure-mage run.

I can tell that you don't play a lot of Sonic games. If you did, then more of the gameplay mechanics should've been more intuitive for you. Like how the rings are like a timer for his super form, for instance. Plus, there are a lot of references you didn't seem to get.
