As it's a common question and I forgot to mention them afterwards; the levers didn't actually do anything. Your streams and Tango’s streams have been my favorite the past month or two. You giving your best to figure it out, and Tango enjoying all the love for his game. You as a player are a game designer’s dream! And Tango enjoyed that very very much! It was such a treat to see him enjoy all the Hermits loving his work, your persistance to get to the bottom of his game and to see his annoyance with the stupid AI of ravagers and wardens 🤣 Your way of approaching the game resonated the most with me. Pearl there should totally be a Platinum trophy for 100 percenting Decked Out after you get all the artifakes. It would be cool if Tango could give that out since you've come this far.

Yeah I was wondering about the clank block on the way out It was still making the clank blocked tiptoe noise several times after the block counter ran out. My best guess is maybe you had clank block queued much deeper than the map can display? No idea if the display system just goes up and down or if it reads like the total amount of clank block though

so id fallen off watching people's runs before they really got to level 3, and watching this now was *crazy* in comparison. The sheer confidence with which you moved through the *entire* dungeon, knowing where each and every pressure plate or cobweb or trap was - absolutely mindblowing.

yeah I'd done the same thing. I'd stopped watching runs for a while, then got back into it to see this. Pearl truly is the Decked Out Queen

I am just so impressed, by Pearl for her cracking the code in so many ways and Tango for being the genius he is to create such an amazing game within Minecraft. Well done!

i started crying when you found tango up at the top of the citadel, just because of the amount of work he sunk into this thing for people to obsess over it like they have, it just makes me so happy:)

@senrak6877 etho kept getting doors slam in his face so etho mode would be that, and gem could never find a key so the joke about gem mode would be no keys. It's been too long so I've forgotten what hypno mode would be but it would be a similar joke presumably.

Etho won the competition, Peral won the game. Quite brilliant as a communitty-game-dev from Tango to create a game in wich 2 players who were going for very very different approaches to the game can be equally victorious.

Pearl went from completely blind and scared of Pumpkin and Tango’s Cough to one of the best and most confident runners in the game. Magnificent.

It felt like the ending to a Pokemon game

I hadn't watched the final 2 weeks, and I was really blown away by how *good* Pearl was at Level 4. Knew where all the potential artifact spots were, danced around Wardens like they were nothing, knew exactly where to go, etc. I know this comes with all her practice learning the secrets of the level, but it was just so cool to watch.

I know the buttons are memes now, but I'd like to think that: Gem mode: Already mentioned, but no key drops Etho mode: All hazards already active Hypno mode: Clank block does not work

I just have to say, cause it cannot be said enough. You, Scar, and all the other Hermits who continued to play the game (and not get discouraged by the "competition being outta reach") were great. Glad you BEAT decked out two! Can't wait to see what this entails (presses play)

Yeah, I was disappointed with some other Hermits who focused more on the competition and gave up when they 'fell behind' rather than just experiencing this amazing thing that Tango made. It's still fun just to explore and see how you deal with the crazy situations you might encounter there.

Yeah imo as someone who prefers the story rather than the glory I think pearl is easily the best (Didn’t even mean to rhyme)

Here's a wild idea I had watching You and Tango giggle and celebrate on top of the Citadel. In a season or two after Tango has decompressed from DO2, perhaps you could approach him as the "Queen of Decked out" and ask if he wants to do DO3 as a tag team. What he has accomplished with redstone in vanilla minecraft is bonkers and the citadel and dungeon are gorgeous. But imagine what more he could do if he had even one more person to help with the layouts, decorations, terraforming, and overall design of the next dungeon. Even on DO2 he brought in Yourself, Grian, and Bdubs to help with specific sections when he knew your talents would fit the area he wanted to include. He is an amazing builder (even if he won't always admit it), but I can only dream of the wonderful things the two of you could build together if you worked together from the very start! And honestly, it might just help keep him from going insane or help him to finish on a slightly shorter timescale (or accomplish even more on the same epic timescale). I don't know if it is sacrilege to suggest a 2nd person could help with the next project, but I cannot think of anyone better to POSSIBLY help than the crowned Queen of Decked Out 2.

Tango talked about the crazy time commitment involved in a project such as this. Pearl being on the other side of the world seems a deterrent. Her sleepy time was when Tango streamed. Having key help, like Doc does for intense projects, could help to keep the dungeon open and Tango less buried imho.

Decked Out has been so much fun watching the runs from everyone's perspectives. But I am so utterly delighted (and super happy for Tango) that you took the time to explore and find all the hidden secrets and tricks in the dungeon. The amount of time taken to add these things into the dungeon, to have someone who makes it a priority to find and solve them is so heartwarming to see. Brava Decked Out Queen! All hail our new Dungeon Master!

Watching you run the dungeon for HOURS every week was the highlight of the last few months, and seeing this live capped it off perfectly. Thank you for putting this together so quickly, Pearl! It was perfectly condensed. We're all so proud of you. I mean, how sad would it have been for Tango to do all the puzzling puzzles for no one to bother finding them? I said ages ago that DO2 was Tango's love letter to Etho, and someone added that it was his love letter to the community. I agree fully. With your curiosity and exploration since the first phase, though...Tango had to know that you were the one who would make it worth adding the clues and puzzles to level 4. You would make sure it was worth the design time. The puzzles were his love letter to you. And you did it beautifully! You made the dungeon master so happy by beating his game. And we loved watching every minute of it.

After watching you for weeks, seeing tango sitting at the top for you ready to crown you literally brought tears to my eyes. God I never knew I could be so affected by a youtuber minecraft server, but Decked Out has become so much more than what any of us could have imagined.

I can't say enough how much I've enjoyed your Decked Out runs, and this was an incredibly satisfying conclusion :) Congrats!

I was able to see the final run live and it was awesome to see the last puzzle being finally solved Congratulations Pearl,thy dedication befits a crown

I'm almost speechless with everything in the video and decked out. Just, wow. During your first key run with lackey tango, I had a suspicion of something big due to tango mentioning the key being the THIRD hardest artifact. With an older cub run showing him accidentally finding the bomb and being confused, as well as some comments on your previous video, I had some speculations about a hidden secret, but nothing this big. The amount of work tango has put into this game and all the little secrets is astounding, and really it feels like its own video game outside of minecraft. Not to mention with the exploration and discoveries you've made, (in addition to, you know, BEATING DECKED OUT) you're definitely deserving of the title "queen of decked out". Congrats, this whole thing was amazing to watch.

It seems the months Tango spent in his hole that everyone joked about was worth it.

Hearing Tango's kind words was incredible. "I don't care what the score says.. you're the best Pearl." It actually made me emotional. You could hear in his voice how excited he was and how proud he was! I dungeon master myself, (although not to the degree of what Tango has established in this season!) so I can relate to how he was possibly feeling. Having a player 100 % through and through be invested in your game is something else, and I'm sure you made him very happy as well. Thanks for all of the Decked Out content Pearl. This season in general made me realize how good you are at entertaining people (and me :D )

Oh my days, that last run was something else! That was the epiphany of Decked out 2, that was everything Tango wanted from you all with the game and more. That was truly amazing, you have become so damn skilled at that "silly, little game"!

Some part of me is really happy that the 'final puzzle' was something so...simple. Honestly something you might've been able to puzzle out even without finding all of the pieces - because by the time you make it through that door, you've probably been digging around long enough to find them anyways, and even if you didn't get all of them, it's easy to get enough and count. Behind all the smoke and mirrors is what it's always been. Of course, you had it figured out even before you knew it was a puzzle, because you're just Built Different.

Pearl, at the beginning of S9 I didn't watch you, and it was been a WILD ride! First watching you through Gem's perspective and seeing your incredible terraforming and building and then through Tango's perspective developing Decked Out and seeing your engagement and curiosity and puzzle solving skills bring so much to the game and when this video dropped I realised I couldn't watch it without going back and binging the entirety of S9 from your perspective, which is exactly what I have now done. And as Decked Out and then the season came to a close with the crestors I regularly watched before, I was reliving the time in fast forward again through your experience and dang lady is there anything you can't do?? Building, landscaping, creative, survival, storytelling, pvp, puzzles, mum friend, Grian and Scar wrangling, redstone dabbling, and now Decked Out Queen, you really are an incredible gamer, minecrafter and content creator, and you fully deserve the title. I can't wait to see how you round out the season as I finish up my binge watching, and I can't wait to join in watching you in real time with your future projects. Pearl the Queen of DO2! I (sirdonkasaurus) really hope you choose to base near/with Tango next season. Your dynamic is so chill and I think he could use a season just making farms an expert builder needs to make the base look amazing while he does the things that make it efficient. He deserves a season that is a bit more silly and a little time off from the grind. He has been on HC since S2 when Mumbo and X had him on to explain the Iron Titan and get it working. His contribution to the Hermitcraft community has been immense, even before DO2.

The queen of Decked Out. For me Pearl is the real winner of the game. It was so amazing to see her figuring everything out!

Its crazy how much of its own game Decked Out became. Like, all the differnt strategies, thw multiple playstyles, the practice it takes to master, just the way the players interact with the game so much differently than regular Minecraft. This is really something special.

That crown goes so well on pearls skin, the blue sentre with her eyes and the gold blending into her hair, its so good Its meant to be!

I think I had a dream about this run months ago when decked out started, but my brain couldn't finish it because we hadn't even seen the deep frost level yet. I'm so glad some one was actually able to realize it entirely, including code word and dungeon master key and exploding doors(dissolving doors in the dream, close enough). And the crown at the end was similar, though the spikes were blue and white I think. Any way. Amazing journey. Good job to Tango for making something that captured the imagination so well, and good job to you, Pearl, for questing through the whole thing to the fullest. Kinda feels weird seeing all the similarities to my dream. But still really cool.

I was so scared that the season would end without Decked out being finished and it came pretty much down to the wire. You're such a Decked out pro, an undisputed champion. Well played

I was waiting for this reveal. As someone who loves puzzles the most, this was my favorite path to follow. Pearl is definitely Tango's favorite, even if Etho won. They're Decked Out buddies; both knowing the game like the backs of their hands. Super sweet to watch this episode and last.

I love Decked Out II so much... It's not just an indie game within the bounds of another game, it's not even a revolutionary and transcendent feat of engineering and technical prowess made by an absolute genius over a year+ of passionate work. It's a whole ADVENTURE riddled with secrets, puzzles and easter eggs that unified an already amazing server together in a way that nothing has quite managed before, it got people theorizing and exploring like how the best series and shows managed to get their communities excited. Tango truly created something beyond this world with Decked Out II. Possibly the single greatest creation in Minecraft history, and that's not even an exaggeration. Amazing run by the way, the sheer professionalism and determination was something to commend.

So happy for you! What a credit to Tango’s design and your tenacity!

When I saw the hole at the top of the citadel, I was sure the "reward" for mastering the dungeon would be for Tango to yell "I'm free, at last!", followed by a diabolical laughter, Tango disappearing in a puff of smoke, and Pearl being sent straight down into the heart of the dungeon to be the new dungeon master for the rest of eternity - or until another brave but foolish soul would repeat her mistake.

So amazing. I mostly watched etho's runs, and I had no idea how much depth there was with the bomb and keys and items. This was an amazing accomplishment, and an amazing video. Thanks for compiling all this.

This was such an amazing time on the hermitcraft server! I loved watching you progress from "Ahhhhh a ravager" on the first run to talking to them like puppies in the this one. Your dungeon knowledge, parkour and confidence manipulating the mob AIs is impressive to watch. The dungeon master created an amazing game and you did a fantastic job becoming master of it. Loved every moment
