I think he loves the "sharing is caring" mentality, but for the game it's better to not have it there. The main reason being that it encourages greed and staying a bit longer in the dungeon just to pick up an extra coin or two.

Might be, yes. He mentioned that he wanted to fix it earlier, but since he hasn't changed it yet (it would be a relatively easy fix I think, depending on the design) he might have changed his mind? I guess what it does is basically change the system from "4 coins for a crown" to "every coin has a 25% crown chance" (but with some guaranteed crowns when having lots of coins) I expect the pay-it-forward to stop in like week 4, when it gets properly competitive.

@@blackholevortex tango has already fixed it. When he moved the coin collection to the exit, he made the counter reset with the dungeon.

The fact that Grian started using this channel actively is awesome. There are so many content that didn't make it's way to main channel. I hope phasmo(or games other than mc) and this type of stuff continues.

@@DeluxeArt6976oh yes cuz a 1.5 million view average is bad I’m really happy to see more grain content I don’t think he’s desperate this channel has always been kind of weird with how it’s active. He’s sometimes just upload the turn on it and then ignore that for awhile to me it just feels like this is a Channel where he doesn’t have to worry about the algorithm, and if he has a continent idea that he can’t make on his main channel what he still wants to do it goes here

I mean, he was clearly focused on what he was doing. If he were easter egg hunting, he'd pick the easiest difficulty. They're not going anywhere, he can come back later.

Can hardly call it a minigame it's just a game, straight up - it's not a minigame within minecraft, minecraft is just the engine, for this other game I can't really think of a universally well known game to use as an example but it's about the equivalent of Spyro or Portal being called minigames for being in an engine which runs them This isn't an arcade machine, this took more dev time than some actual games (not that that says much considering..)

Tango did a phenomenal job with Decked out 2. It's going to be extremely popular when the world download releases.

Loved the little Zelda chime when Grian used the key. It just fit perfectly.

even after a week, watching everyone play decked out is just as exciting as it was when it was released

The map doesn't track your clank or hazard level it tracks how much clank and hazard block you have

​@@daedalus5253Grian is mistaken in this video and is later corrected by tango. The map works. It doesn't show your levels of clank and hazard, it shows your blocks that you have for them. Pay attention to the map when a card is played, and the bars will fill up.

I’m so glad you’re posting all the decked out runs! They’re so fun to watch, decked out is such a great game!

In first run you had easy difficulty - color of the compass tells difficulty. You probably changed it after inserting your deck. Order of steps matters

Grian is definitely one of my favourite people to watch run decked out purely cause he’s got the perfect mix of unserious chaos but also tactical thinking. So please keep the videos coming!!

Is it me or did Grian miss an easter egg at the beginning of run two?

5:46 I wish Grian had done what many other hermits did and literally compiled all his runs in order with a number on screen to tell us which run it was, it's a little confusing without that tbh. Please do that for future weeks Grian!

Grians strategy is perfect. Was waiting for someone to do this. He is exploring and i think the information will pay off in the long run. Building a deck is much more useful.

Tango did such a great job making an amzing game. I want to play it so badly!

Grian, in case no one’s said yet, F5 is discouraged if not strictly forbidden in the rules. It decreases the fear and tensions of the runs and that feel is huge for this game.

Decked out is so amazing. Imagine building a game in survival smp.

The serious tone of the game almost makes this em as if it’s a cinematic movie

Hey, Grian. I was wondering if you could maybe pump the brightness up a tad on these. If others are feeling similarly, of course? Between Decked Out 2 and watching the Phasmo streams I'm going to need to see my optometrist soon.

You should try peeking around corners and sneaking to avoid clank and ravager chases. I think you can eliminate a lot of bad runs by observing the best route to take slowly

At the end of every season, the server becomes downloadable to the public. When the world download goes live, it should still be functional, so you'd be able to play on your own copy of the world.

13:53 that is my favorite run of any Hermit so far. So much quick thinks and it was so action packed.

Having never played decked out I feel so bad after the fact of thinking like a backseat gamer; just grab the berries and you’ll make it! I can’t feel through a screen what Tangos masterpiece is like. Cheers ♥️

I absolutely despise backseating, but watching him fail that river jump so consistently almost made me a hypocrite multiple times.

I absolutely love decked out! learning about it is so cool and all the mechanics are very interesting!

you can tell grain has played phasmo the way he loops the ravagers

I say build up 3 or 4 ember seeker cards, they let you hit the rare cards with only common artefacts if you get a few, and guarantee moments of clarity even if you can’t really get an artefact due to bad positioning or something

There's a deep pool of water on level 1 next to a wall with a chest full of goodies in it! Just figured I'd bring it up since a lot of hermits miss it. 😊

always make sure you got enough berries before you go to level 2

13:30 Grian, why did you look at the map to see what the clank was? That's not what the map is showing. That meter is showing how many times you can BLOCK clank. It's showing you what impact your cards are having on the game. The indicator of clank is the same as it was in Decked Out 1. The heartbeat. Your clank was pretty high by the sounds of things but not terrible.

Took me a bit to get to these... so much to watch! Please keep posting, love the unedited content!

Decked out is inspired by the board game Clank. You will also be able to play Decked Out 2 when the world download comes out. Not exactly what you want but there are these alternatives.

Lots of places that are dead ends are accessible by jump boost and their are places that have berries and drop treasure and embers also only accessible through jump boost

5:48 that might have been an egg location you found in the powdered snow! Bdubs egg was hidden in a similar set up on the other side of the map so maybe worth revisiting? If no one else has found that one there should be some crowns hidden there
