thanks for sharing, i started tweaking my strategy no longer do i enter on the short time frames, i look at the weekly, daily 4hour and 1 hour charts, i trade the hourly charts i look for double tops/bottoms i have to identify retests at a level several times watching how price action reactions, no indicators.

10:46 from my backtesting, there was a nice Bullet entry short here, even with wicks on AUDUSD there are more profitable % than unprofitable % for 2018-2020, so I disregard wicks

i think you should take entry on consodialation of support area (08.31) and sell on resistance because its a flag pattern, there are less chances of breaking the support area

Hi Hannah, I hope you have a great day. It is important to do backtesting as an initial phase of testing a strategy but backtesting takes the time and emotions out of the equation. So, foretesting in real-time data is very important because you will feel how long it takes for the strategy to form in real time and you will test your emotions as the bars go up and down in real time.

I just loved the way you backtested your strategy

I just found out this and it's already my favourite forex channel on yt. Always inspiring and authentic content Just one question: i saw from your notion that you take multiple rounds of backtesting on the same pair to see if your success increases every time. At first this sounded like a great idea but I think that even if you feel like you wouldn't remember the outcome of price movement, you would subconsciously remember certain setups and patterns so you would be a little in advantage. This is also explained in the Forex Naked book you recommended Thank you very much, and sorry for my English as it's not my first language

That’s actually the beauty of back testing, because we’re trying to train ourselves on a conscious and subconscious level to remember these patterns, market structure, price behaviour so in the real life present markets we would feel a lot more confident and it would mitigate any hesitation to take these set ups ☺️

So have a doubt about using tradingview is when you click one time the fwd button it appears 1hr candle .then how it changes back again to different color/size ,for ex: look at vdo time 11:04 to 11:08?
