I’d be so nervous doing it that way!! Id worry about damaging the roots from the excessive movement and dunking like that. Root hang down naturally and dunking them is forced motion the opposite direction. You are braver than I am 😂 beautiful!!

I've moved 5 of my phalynopsis orchids over to clay pebbles and I'm using 50/50miracle gro o 1-1-1spray/water and they LOVE it their leaves are all getting all big hulk flex pose like😁😁
