WOW this video was so helpful! I use my camera mic for voiceovers too but a trick i learned recently is recording it as a voice memo then airdropping that way I don't have to deal with detaching the video ;)

ahhh yes great idea! I've tried doing gifs in procreate but iMovie doesn't support gifs, so hopefully this way works!

I love how you say "I copy clips by using command c on my keyboard or if that doesn't work I go to the top bar". When I use keyboard commands iMovie takes AGES so I guess I'm not the only one with this problem 😂

Hi im almost a year late I Just found your channel. I loved this video and part 1. I am wondering if you can still use the "Old version of Pic monkey as I do really want to pay for it but I also think I prefer the way the old version looks. It looks simple and easy to use. Any idea if this is still possible?

to anyone who wants to use picmonkey for free instead downloading the picture which costs money just do shift-command-4 and then use the curser thing to go over ur picture and then it will take a screenshot of only that part you welcome :))))))

For the Procreate gif u can just save it as an animated mp4 to your iPad then it will be saved as a video :))

ah yes that works for sure! the only issue w iMovie though is that an mp4 gif that has a transparent background doesn't work if you want to overlay it on top of another clip so that's why I had to do it the way I did in this video haha it's frustrating!

If you can’t buy Procreate, there’s an app called Sketchbook in the App Store, too. It’s a free version of Procreate and easier than using Picsart 💞 You can record your voiceovers in your voice memos app on your phone too 🤙🏼

yes that's called a standby! you can either create your own graphic that has the colored screen or get a free one online. then look up a free standby sound audio clip and download that!

go to the QuickTime app and then hold down the icon and select "new screen recording!"

hmmm that's weird...make sure you're selecting the edited version when you airdrop it from your phone to your computer and also selecting the edited version when dragging the clip from your desktop into iMovie
