I also tried Lottabody Foam too AFTER trying Nairobi. Lottabody made my natural hair shiny and soft but I prefer Nairobi. Nairobi has a more firm mold which I like better.

Smoothing and it’s temporary, it’s mousse and comes off with high heat (sun) or water (washing hair, pool, ocean, etc)

Mine won’t stay down for nothing

My mold turned out really fizzy and I couldn’t hold a curl when I flat ironed it. I used the Nairobi foam after freshly washed and sat under a portable dryer for 45min on medium heat. I flat ironed at 380 degrees. I can’t figure out what I did wrong. Any insights? I will say that the Nairobi wasn’t foaming as well and dripping at lot. Maybe not working fast enough when molding? Was practicing finger waves…

The downside is really dry edge/skin at the back of the head. Do you know if your Nairobi is the original? There are too many fakes on amazon these days. I've been searching for an original.

I had been suspicious of the Nairobi I ordered from Amazon because it doesn't produce as much foam, and the liquid drips from the container even though I shake it thoroughly before pumping. Also, the hold is not firm. I'm finding myself having to use it every morning because the hold seems to wear off easily. Now that I'm seeing your post, I'm convinced that I bought an imposter. From now on, I'm going to purchase from my local beauty supply store.

I think I may have gotten a fake from my local beauty store.... it made my nails turn slightly blue after applying it. I don't ever remember it doing that before
