As somebody who generally only buys Standard legal sets, the main thing that bothers me is the price hikes.

I used to buy a box for almost every major set, but now with the volume I hated how I constantly had FOMO, but now I hate that I can’t be bothered to care about most of the sets

And there's still so much potential for them messing up more. Imagine if some big honcho at Hasbro learned about Midjourney and came up with a way to save up on artists. Imagine that the premium aspect of cards would be that they're designed by a human artist. Collector Boosters not selling too well? How about all foil boosters? Alternate art premium boosters, all with a certain theme? Although I would welcome an all-old border version of boosters. That would actually be a cool thing, IMHO.

what adds insult to injury is hasbro keeps on pumping out products then would have delays on shipping? you want people to buy but how? heck you won't even know when you'll have them.

Someone should ask Hasbro or WoTC or hell even direct it at Maro “how does it feel to know people look at how youre managing mtg, on how not to manage a card game?”

Honestly, best case scenario is that H*sbro's stock sinks so low that they have to sell their IPs and hopefully MTG will get picked up by a company who does care about the integrity and long-term health of the game. I've often heard the quote that "Magic is the best game in the world, run by the worst company in the world". H*sbro have proven themselves exceptionally incompetent and inept over the years, chasing myopic and masochistic business practices, that's it's a miracle they're even still around at all.

Couldn’t agree more. I would love to see a different company with a fundamental different philosophy buy WOTC.

@@MagicMetalMoney I'd much rather have Wizards of the Coast fully dissolve as a company rather than allow another company outside of Hasbro to buy them out because they don't deserve it after the way they've bastardized Magic: The Gathering and to a lesser extent Dungeons & Dragons. Sadly Wizards of the Coast have forever branded themselves as the Atari of Paper Trading Card Games / Collectible Card Games, so much so that they've managed to make Konami look more competent with Yu-Gi-Oh! by comparison which is pretty sad considering that I quit Yu-Gi-Oh! almost 20 years ago.

@@456jm Yeah, completely selling MTG would be better. Just imagine if a company with good values and long-term thinking could own MTG. It could dramatically improve the game!

Heres a solution Go back to how it was during return to ravnica and the release of modern masters Those were in my opinion the best that hasbro ever ran mtg apart from modern bans/unbans but thats gameplay management and another topic all together. The player base is not faultless they asked for all this and by God did they get it. Mike Tyson says “God punishes you by giving you what you aak for.” And that is certainly what has occurred here.

Yo I've never heard that quote before but that is straight wisdom. Definitely applies here, but also interesting to think about in the context of life.
