Ok, driving a bus isn't hard, however the pain it causes to your body, having to deal with 65+kids acting up, watching them while watching the road. It's so hard.

I talked to a guy who drives a school bus in Wichita, Kansas, and he said the discipline is very strict, and there is a heavy penalty for kids that don't behave. He has had no problem with kids while driving.

Its the best job I've ever had! Plus it allows me to give back to the community that helped raise me!

Keep your hands, on the wheel. And don't turn your head, while you don't have control.

Now try driving with 65 screaming kids and assaults with drugs

There is more to driving a bus than just doing it in a lot, driving on the road in traffic is totally different and lane changes, clearing vehicles, knowing what lane to turn into etc. is more than what this video shows, doing a brake check and pre-tripping the bus is very important. Should of had him do a pre-trip and drive on the road. Great start, good luck to all who get behind the bus on the actual road, lol

As a school bus drive its easy its just your tail swinging u worry about..yes its easy to drive the bus in a open area try drive around residential area

Try it with 3 screaming kids in every seat from directly behind you to the back on both sides of the aisle. That is why most people don't want to do it. Personally, I thrive on it.........

The oay doesnt match job responsibilites thats why there is a shortage went from the school bus to semi trucks way more relaxing. i plan to switch to local to see how it goes

It's also your responsibility to get those children to and from school safely, if you haven't been totally trained in driving with 70 kids yelling, jumping around, this video is not a true representation of driving a school bus. It may be easy to maneuver the bus but try alley parking or parallel parking that 40 ft. bus without proper training, good luck.

@@kml223 hello parking bus isn’t that hard if you know what you’re doing like I said it’s all about mirrors and awareness.. as far as the children go you need to have patience set boundaries and keep control of one your temper, two of the children. And this comes with training, but generally speaking it’s not that hard to drive a bus.. well at least for me. I learn to drive and trailers as a teen and parked them in the yard.
