My Grandfather was one of the most humblest men I have ever known who I loved very much and he was also an old fashioned mountain preacher , he would occasionally sing this song & to me it’s one of the greatest songs ever penned down by mortal man , as I listened to your version I wanted to make a comment but this dear friends is beyond my capacity to find words to describe it , I could only sat mesmerized as I listened , Thankyou and may God bless , I am a subscriber

As a fellow bass, I always enjoy it when Matt takes the lead. Of course, I do love listening to Emily sing anytime. You all continue to bless with your talent and your willingness to continue to praise God in all you do.

You can see that core adoration for Jesus of each person just bursting through and riding on their beautiful harmonies and arrangement. So uplifting!

About a year and a half ago I was up very late one night and came across your video to Blessed Assurance and loved it, ever since then I’ve been listening to your music a lot and I love it a lot and it has been a huge blessing in my life. Thank you very much. I always look forward to watching and listening to new videos.

As a hard drinking lapsed Presbyterian from Ulster, this utterly moving rendition makes me so glad that some of my antecedents made the journey to the Appalachians. I genuinely enjoyed that with almost tears in my eyes despite being not very religious. I suppose I know my roots.
