He primarily played as a shooting guard, but he was versatile enough to contribute as a small forward and even a power forward at times. He won a Slam Dunk Content during his time at the All-Star Game. He was a 8-time NBA All-Star and Rookie of the Year. this is a very surface level retelling of carter's effect in Toronto. check out the carter effect for what he actually did in the city. He did a lot more off the court. I do not agree with your opinions that Vince Carter didn't care about basketball, training hard enough, or his Toronto team. Those are just bogus rumors. He's made it clear time and time again that he loves Toronto, and he would not disrespect the game of basketball, because the game has been so good to him. His own words. Go watch interviews of him. He is a true blue guy. I'm a Knicks fan, but I'm actually a huge fan of him too. It hurts that you actually think these things about him. Even most Raptors fans have forgiven him by now, as you've mentioned. 😑🥺

Imagine a freakishly athletic Carmelo Anthony, but who isn't a dickhead. And during his years as a star, he had an off-switch that Randy Moss could admire. That was Vince. We all expected much more out of his career, but we never got it. I think he was a guy who never really wanted to be THE guy. He was probably better off as an elite second-option in his prime. The fact that he turned around his career near the end and became the consummate teammate and professional really saved his legacy. He's beloved now, but that wasn't always the case.

Vince was the perfect dunker in the way he ran, his jumping power, his body balance in the air, the size of his palms, the swing of his arms, the trajectory of the ball, and his post-landing behavior. Vince Carter easily top 25 in my opinion he’s remembered as a great dunker but he could shoot the 3 with the best of them and he played all-NBA defense, those Raptors teams was all about him and when he got to the Nets those we’re fun teams.

Vince never gets enough credit for his impact on the league! He was right there on the same level as Kobe and AI when he was in Toronto.
Vince Carter was def my fav player!!! NBA Legend and UNC LEGEND!!!
The greatest dunker of all-time without any doubt and one of my favorite players ever. If he had the motivation to play harder, I think Vince might've had more accolades other than his All-Star appearances. Nevertheless he had the longevity under his belt and his record-setting 22 seasons speaks for itself.
Finally the video I want, thank you

@AnAverage2KMobilePlayer Jus cause your name avg don’t put Vince in that category lol, do so some research…takes more than dunking to do what he accomplished
He will always be my favourite dunker
That 7 game series, between VC and AI, Raptors/Sixers, was great. Literally came down to the last shot.
He was damn good. That's how good he was.
Vinsanity was a wish version of Griffey for Toronto different sports but both saved the franchise in their town... U have to be some type of nice to do that.. I had slam mags with his dunks all over my room as a kid
I think Vince and T-Mac were the most talented ballers the game has seen in the last 50 years since Wilt. Insane genetics
How good was VC? See how he stacks up vs other legends: PER 100 POSSESSIONS THROUGH 10 SEASONS: VC: 34 ppg 8 rpg 6 apg .45 FG% .38 3PT% TMAC: 34 ppg 9 rpg 7 apg .44 FG% .34 3PT% PIERCE: 32 ppg 9 rpg 6 apg .44 FG% .36 3PT% RAY: 30 ppg 7 rpg 6 apg .45 FG% .40 3PT% NIQUE: 35 ppg 9 rpg 3 apg .47 FG% .30 3PT% DAME: 34 ppg 6 rpg 9 apg .44 FG% .37 3PT% KYRIE: 34 ppg 6 rpg 9 apg .47 FG% .39 3PT% In my eyes, Vince Carter was the Dominique Wilkins of his generation: Both were incredibly deadly scorers known for their dunking Both scored 25,000+ points Both made at least 8 star teams Both only won 3 Playoff Series in their prime years & never made long playoff runs Both were left off of NBA Anniversary teams when many felt they should've made the cut
Good ole Vince Carter, man he was a legend
this is a very surface level retelling of carter's effect in Toronto. check out the carter effect for what he actually did in the city. He did a lot more off the court. It just didn't work out and we honestly did not have the right personal at the time to keep him and there really is a lot more going with his relationship with Canada in general.

Vince carters career is the definition of a wholesome ending
He is half man half amazing... I said that before the video said it. I'm old enough to remember when he got that title
Vince was a beast
my fav player of all time just truly insane
One of the best natural talents ever but never cared about winning like people thought, oh well
U gotta do one on ray allen
Would've been the face of the NBA in 2000s if he had the mentality
It's two crazy facts, he went from spoiled brat, to a master. Also went from extremely powerful, high ego and unmatchable athletic prospect to a super hardworking, humble master in a decade. Crazy. One of my favorites players with Kobe.
I always wondered what the Raptors could have accomplished if they kept both Tmac and Carter.

Dunking king

HALF MAN HALF AMAZING !!!
Vinsanity era was just amazing. he wasted his prime years, but he bounced back as a smart vet.
Vince carter had the same skills set as MJ and Kobe but VC did have killer instinct that much meaning it was consistent killer instinct. My favorite of all timw
Vince played saxophone *Shows euphonium
A saxophone scholarship 🤣 My AOL screen name when I was 10 was based on Vince Carter. His black and purple Raptors jersey was the sickest jersey ever.
He wrote the book of slams, insane dunker.
3:29 Vince had a smooth jumper
My favorite NBA player of all time
I remember in the early 2000s almost every rapper had a Raptors jersey with Vince. It wasn't until DeMar DeRozan that changed. Definitely generation talent.
I also started dribbling at 2 years old
“In addition, Vince played saxophone” *shows Carter holding a tuba
2000s era was gold man 2000s era was gold
why is this dude not in the top 75?
I do not agree with your opinions that Vince Carter didn't care about basketball, training hard enough, or his Toronto team. Those are just bogus rumors. He's made it clear time and time again that he loves Toronto, and he would not disrespect the game of basketball, because the game has been so good to him. His own words. Go watch interviews of him. He is a true blue guy. I'm a Knicks fan, but I'm actually a huge fan of him too. It hurts that you actually think these things about him. Even most Raptors fans have forgiven him by now, as you've mentioned. 😑🥺
My favourite SG along w MJ, Kobe and AI Put Toronto on the map and the greatest dunker of all time imo
Please make a video on How good was david robinson actually? Thanks

Carter was not a dinner. His whole game is the most sublime in the whole NBA history.
Brian Westbrook and fred Taylor should get a video. Maybe even old skoool with detlef
The greatest in game dunker of all time, he a dunking legend.
Vince Carter too coo
Best Dunker half man half amazing
I think the most impressive thing about carter is not his dunking but his longevity. The man played for 20+ years and was still dunking on people. Absolute legend and DESERVES a spot in the HOF. bro had limitless takeoff on hof
Anyone know song at 0:00?

Can you do a video about Ben Wallace? The best undrafted player in NBA
One of the first
Only 22pts per game??? To score 1000 points you only need to average 11.6 points per game. I feel Vince went through what Gianni is going through. "What we expect" is not on him...its on us. He was great!
VC is the goat dunker
Vince was the perfect dunker in the way he ran, his jumping power, his body balance in the air, the size of his palms, the swing of his arms, the trajectory of the ball, and his post-landing behavior. Vince's greatness is that he can change his playing style each time, considering the team situation and age, and achieve the best results in the given position.
Undereated
Did he play saxophone? He is holding a baritone horn in the pictures.
bro when he said he played saxophone he showed a tuba
Vince sounds like every Asian parents dream
GOD bless man
