    I miss Tim Duncan, as a san antonio resident all my life ive watched him grow, become old, then retire. I even met him once when he was getting nachos. really humble guy and the best pf ever

    Suns was better, Amar'e put Duncan in grave with those Steve Nash feeds. Not only Bowen and Horry had orders to hurt Steve Nash so duncan can see next round in playoff...it was rigged cause they suspended half of Suns bench (same guy Tim donaghy ref who end in jail for fixing rigged games in Lakers vs Blazerrs and vs Kings 2001/02 playoffs) ...Literally duncan is not champion. His 1999 ring came cause Ewing was not in finals and Larry Johnson had back surgery too. Literally Admiral + duncan beat some loser center 1999 Chris Dudley.     @@wiltchamberlaingodofnba2072 orders lmao stfu Amare and boris diaw violated those rules by running off the bench when horry fouled nash. Horry was rightfully ejected but nobody was injured. And the game plan was never to stop Amare let him his alley oops and dunks because nash and the 3 ball was the real threat and slowing the pace down with duncan is why they won the series every year until 2010. Stop trolling. Spurs can't help it if the Knicks can't stay healthy. All they can do is win. And duncan showed why he was the mvp over kidd by dominating him in the finals. Duncan carried a less than average roster through a beast of a western conference. Eastern conference was weak.

    People too often is impressed by stats. Tim averaged "only" 19 ppg but it's that he cannot score more, he let his teamates score, he was so unselfish and inspiring you quite don't believe it. He is my favourite player of all time, period.

    Shaq's Prime was from 93-06. His Peak was from 98-03, kobe's scoring prime was 2006. his athletic prime was from 1998 to 2003.

    @@keir. any Kobe needed Shaq LeBron needed Wade Kyrie and Anthony Davis Jordan didn't get past the Pistons and tell Pippen join the Bulls Larry Bird had Kevin McHale Magic Johnson had Kareem Abdul-Jabbar which in my opinion is probably the greatest deal in history I mean you have to top five players ever on the same team that's why as good as Shaq and Kobe was to me they're only top 10 they're not top five like my list number one is MJ then Kareem then LeBron then Magic and then Hakeem Larry Bird Tim Duncan Kobe Bryant Shaquille O'Neal Wilt Chamberlain

    I never thought Duncan was boring to watch. I'm less than 2 years older than him and went to college just 22 miles from Wake Forest's campus. I watched his whole career. Tim was part Kareem and part Walton and watching him was a joy.

    Man this guy is like the goat of power forwards. Really love this guy, humble respectful, kept his promise and never let fame or critics get to him. He just play the game, be one of the best, and let the people and stats do his talking.

    He was the king, since I met him he has been my reference of how a basketball player should play. In a game where spectacular movements matter more and more, he worked us back to the essence of the game, to the fundamentals, he showed us how beautiful this sport is and that anyone can play it.

    I wish some of the younger fans had gotten to see Duncan in his prime. He had a foot injury that pretty much ended his prime but he still played 6 or 7 more years and I think some young people remember him as this big, old, lumbering leader. But when he was in his prime? Holy hell, the guy was absolutely incredible. He was a machine out there on the court on both sides of the ball.

    I miss Spurs lineup with Duncan, Ginobili and Parker. I was the only Spurs fan in our whole clan 😅 I love how they got bored with how Spurs played, but all I could see is teamwork at its best.

    Love and miss the guy. I was lucky to meet him a few times ( I remember him he had no clue who I am...thats why I met him a few times.)and he was always polite and kind. While being the best PF ever.

    As a spurs fan it was NEVER boring to watch Timmy play I looked forward to it everyday and to this day he is still my favorite player of all time with Tony and Manu tied for second especially being a Raiders fan it was amazing being a spurs fan having Timmy on my team made my childhood amazing I legit cried when he retired it still makes me sad to this day seeing videos about TD Tony and Manu it was an amazing time to be a basketball fan

    Suns was better, Amar'e put Duncan in grave with those Steve Nash feeds. Not only Bowen and Horry had orders to hurt Steve Nash so duncan can see next round in playoff...it was rigged cause they suspended half of Suns bench (same guy Tim donaghy ref who end in jail for fixing rigged games in Lakers vs Blazerrs and vs Kings 2001/02 playoffs) ...Literally duncan is not champion. His 1999 ring came cause Ewing was not in finals and Larry Johnson had back surgery too. Literally Admiral + duncan beat some loser center 1999 Chris Dudley. Imagine u beat Chris dudley in finals ahahahhaha and that MVP 2001 was Jason Kidd mvp cause Kidd carry rookies Richard Jefferson and Kenyon Martin to finals. duncan most overrated PF in history best lie too !!

    Tim Duncan is my most favorite player. I think he got me as a fan by being humble but being a force for many years. I noticed him because I think he is very intelligent and if he decided to score, he can easily do it as well. To be honest, I just found my self being his fan without knowing exactly what is the reason before. And the best thing, I followed Spurs for many years because they were always a force to reckon with, and that was mainly because of Duncan's sacrifices and how great he is as a player.

    Tim Duncan is absolutely a Hall of Famer and a Spurs legend. Why don’t people talk about him? He was absolutely a beast on the court and became "the Big Fundamental", so he is widely regarded as the greatest power forward of all time and one of the greatest players in NBA history. He was very beloved in San Antonio and the fans embraced him as a fan favorite. He became a 5-time NBA champion.

    Sadly, pop had to sit TD cause they had to defend the perimeter to avoid giving up wide open threes and Duncan wasn't that fast anymore. It was a gamble on SAS side and it didn't pan out. Kinda got me thinking why they didn't just foul to give two free throw I can't remember if SAS was in the penalty or not

    Everybody says they have to get TD out on that play to defend the 3. But it was really a mistake for Pop in my opinion. If TD was there, its not going to Bosh's hands. Diaw was short on getting that board. Goddamn it that play made me crazy for months for losing too much money
