I think the Block should be added back. I really don't understand why it was removed tbh. I think Chapter 2 needs it more than ever with the lack of POI changes compared to Chapter 1. A new POI every week, even if community made, kept things on the map interesting imo.

Always wondered why people don't talk about the block. Really cool concept, and made Fortnite even more unique as a battle royale. Apart from that, it gave community members a chance to showcase their creations in battle royale

The block was one of the best additions they ever made. Fresh, exciting POIs regularly changing. God forbid they put that sort of effort in anymore tho, gotta keep those collabs rolling

@@aidenford7325 Chapter 2 season 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6 where huge changes to the map Season 1 brought a whole new map with some old pois season 2 brought 5 new pois season 3 changed the ENTIRE map made it water with alot of poi changes and a few new ones season 4 brought some new pois for the marvel collab season 5 brought a whole new biome season 6 made everything look makeshift and "Primal" So think about the changes they made before saying they did nothing

I’m pretty sure epic realised how easily the block could be abused after that time someone put a noose room in one of the blocks

I remember it and I used to make my own blocks back in Season X if I can remember and would hope for Epic to put my block on the map which obviously never happened 😅

While i did love the block, I can see why they removed it. One of the last blocks that they did had a reference to suicide in the basement. Epic doesn't want stuff like that to be in their game.

Personally loved the Block! I think it would add a ton of different and unique variety to the map as it stands to this day, especially with the accelerated and limitless abilities of creative nowadays.

The block was great only downside that I could see was the fact that the people landing around it would have a severe underdeveloped inventory and it was almost never a fair fight. But I guess you could say the same goes with strong pops like sweaty

Man I really so miss The Block. It just made the game feel fresh each time it was updated. Also the American football stadium was just insane. The ammo and mats you could get were incredible. You’d be absolutely stacked from there.

Was thinking this exact thought the other week, that’s part of the issue with fortnite now. Weekly updates mean nothing, load up to no map changes, it’s become so bland. Compared to back then weekly block updates, new items weekly, was just a lot more fun back then. God I miss those days

Chapter 2 would be miles better than chapter 1 if it just had those map changes and new items like every week or two

They should add something like the block back, community interaction in any game is always a plus

I remember every week waiting for my update excited on what the block will be

They could add an chest limit so you can't put 100 chests, you can put just 20 or something like that and it would be less broken

It’s sad that the block didn’t come back for Fortnite OG but given that Fortnite og lasted but a month it kinda makes sense why it wouldn’t have made its way back

I hope The Block comes back, but it should NOT land on Risky Reels this time, that would be a bummer, instead it should replace something like, Primal Pond or Wasted Woods for example. And it should not be like The Block 2.0 which was a vote rather than based on Epic's decisions, and due to the functionality of the voting boards, it was a bit rigged.

The Block was a fun location because people got to create their own location.

I didn't go to the bkaock often so i don't remember half of these

From the future after fortnite og It wasn’t nostalgia and the map still felt like it was missing the block

It really didn't matter what was there. The abandoned rollercoaster with the tall grass, the pyramid, the god castle with the basement, the lighted bubble, IT DIDN'T MATTER. I was landing there and there was always fighting. I felt that with Tilted, West World and The Grotto. Chapter 2 spawn fighting is just so messy from a solo standpoint. The game, although tamed down in comparison, feels so random and boring. People say the reason for Ch 1 hype is nostalgia but that Chapter felt more of a controlled chaos. Don't get me wrong, shit got out of hand with the big knife and SX but other than that every match felt different, Ch 2 put FN in a serious monotonous state. I thoroughly enjoy the past 2 seasons finally (aside from Recon Scanner & Rail Gun). I think two decent/above Ch 2 standards seasons isn't enough to be able to say they've fully recovered but it's a good start..I think.
