If he was ever anything but a complete cancer in the locker room he would’ve been. It’s a team game. To this day he doesn’t understand that. His response to waiting three years and not going to Canton out of spite said it all.

TO was 2nd all-time in receiving yards behind only the GOAT Jerry Rice. He was probably the best Run after Catch receiver I've ever seen. Throw him a WR screen or a Reverse and he's gonna take it all the way to the projects. TO also had the best TD celebrations of all-time, including the Pom-Poms and the Sharpie. Despite the claims that he was a bad teammate, he was unstoppable and consistently put his teams in contention. This guy was box-office.

What really bothered everyone about TO that didn’t love him when he played was that he had an extremely obnoxious quality, not the showboating or the “diva” thing, those are obnoxious too, but the most obnoxious by far is that he routinely backed up his trash talk with his on field performance, and most of the time, albeit annoying, *he was right* Dude risked his whole career on that super bowl and popped off less than 2 months after two serious leg injuries, and called out mcnabb for getting tired before the job was finished. The best catch I have ever seen was from Owens. He was on the Seahawks for a very short time, and he was running a vert route on the sideline. Ball was thrown to him short, but instead of trying to turn his whole body to catch the ball, he fell backwards onto his back to catch it. Absolutely amazing. And TO wasn't exactly wrong either... McNabb was absolutely GASSED at the end of that game. I remember watching it and being like "WTF is he doing?!?". TO had a Super Bowl MVP level performance (if they had won) on a broken leg.

He was an amazing player and showboat. He was a spectacle but actually backed it up with great play. I'm an old 49er fan and I take issue with how much of a problem he could be with every team he had been on. But there's no denying the man came to play and put on a show, along with the numbers.

For the first five years of his career, he lined up next to the GOAT and looked pretty damn amazing. In the GOAT's last game as a 49er, TO caught 20 passes. The HoF's pettiness and BS politics got exposed by how they treated Terrell Owens.

McNabb got tired?!?! I didn’t know that! What the heck McNabb! I remembered TO basically lived in an oxygen chamber to heal himself faster. 7 weeks of pure dedication to get healed! He’s one of the only athletes i know who talked as much as he worked hard, so i respect him for that.
