How Good Was Herschel Walker

Спорт

From being an athletic freak of nature to becoming one of the most dominant college football players of all-time. He was also a renowned running back in both the USFL & NFL, Herschel Walker was truly one of a kind. But just how good was he?

I took inspiration from Hershells' life because I, too, have been bullied at different stages in my life and I truly understand how that can either destroy a person internally and emotionally or can raise your standard of expectations in your life into the stratosphere [ only if you use that Hurt and pain] to push you beyond the limit. Instead of wallowing in misery you take that pain and turn it into Victory for yourself and those who truly value You. Just like Hershell Walker did. He is a man of morality, virtue, and good manners. I remember as a kid I wanted to be just like him

I worked with his father and brother in the 70s and know that he came from a strong family and community. That he was subjected to having an election stolen from him In the dead of night by Fulton county apparatchiks is a shame and a disgrace to the state of GA.

Perhaps a couple of interesting facts… IIRC, in those days underclassmen were not eligible for NFL draft, so it was a huge deal for Herschel Walker to forego is senior year to sign a huge $ contract by those days standards. It was also the first year of the USFL, the caliber was not comparable to the NFL.

Lots of black people are abandoning the Demi rats plantation. They e been promising everything to the black community for 69 + years. Just to get their vote , then turn their backs and do nothing for them until it's election time again.

Wrong. He wasn't just a north south runner. He made serious cuts and was very good with a stiff arm. But if he got going and someone was in his way, he didn't mind lowering his head and shoulders and deliver the blow instead of taking shots. Many all American Line backers and DB's felt the burnt of trying not tackle Herschel.
