So it appears a beta update came out today (Thursday of all days 🤔) and changed quite a bit. This video came out hours before the update, and is now no longer representative of the current beta. Time to test more! Although it doesn't look hopeful reading these notes. We'll see though!

Listening about BiS metas is fun but can u please take a look on budget metas also? IMO how powerful each style is on budget setups right now in terms of fastest kills at every boss. Necro with tier90 powerarmour with tier90 weapons is on top > then range sirenic,nox bow > melee masterwork + tier85 duals? not sure about this > and worst style for budget magic virtus+seismic weapons.

I wonder how they will fix range dpm like maybe ruby will increase dmg not on boss hp but base on your own? Deal 5% dmg to self but inflict 50% dmg on proc? Maybe ful arrow can be an adren arrow instead? Every adren costing ability takes 10% more adren but basic generate 20% more adren

Interested to see how they will balance range dpm, maybe ruby dmg scale to player hp instead? For ful arrow maybe its better to turn it into an adren arrow seeing as spores isnt really an adren arrow like gain 20% more adren from basic but adren costing ability takes 10% more adren and maybe sgb getting a heavier dmg decrease for each arrows hit? Incend/tsunami is plenty of adrenaline for arrows, especially now that zamorak bow has become a discount dark bow. You can do non-stop perfect equilibrium specs with it by simply weaving in grico or piercing every other ability. Wen arrows being buffed also suggests that Ful is probably here to stay. 2 gricos buying 5 attacks at 42% damage bonus is strong enough to make Wen switching worth it for grico alone.

Hey its 15% free damage but u get the 10% damage reduction cause of accurracy right? Is there any boss where u sit on 100% accurracy with bik arrows? Counting on auras ovl and all u have?

Im having an issue logging into the beta. The direction say to click link and jagex launcher will load beta. Nothing loads any idea?

in the task tray, right click and exit the jagex launcher (up arrow on the right side of your task bar)

this video aged well after jagex trashed mage in today beta changes.

What do you mean tectonic isn't bis? What's sliske armor? Did they drop a higher tier magic armor?

I think because of perk of sliske armour more chanves at crit, which will be beneficial for every style

Sliske hybrid armor can use any warpriest effect, and tuska effect gives 5% crit chance, making it bis for magic in the current meta

I like the guarenteed crit from Gfury. It should 100% be tuned down in terms of damage, but having something to reliably crit really makes melee stand out.

Quite unlucky that they changed so much on todays patch. I'm wondering how good the new FSOA passive will be.
